The product is very comfortable and very easy to use.

It's soft and supple and isn't hard or irritating. It allows deeper penetration with easier movement.

If your man is one for holding your bra straps or hair, this is one for you as he can hold onto the straps of the strap instead and allows him to pull you upright, hold onto you and pull you anyway he wants without much force or pain, and you get to keep your balance and feel comfortable in whatever position he pulls you in because the belt is keeping you up.

I sometimes like to introduce a clitoral vibrator during intercourse for that extra bit of fun. This is fairly simple to do in most positions, I can use the toy while my partner does the rest. The problem is that we enjoy doggy style and it is virtually impossible to use a vibrator while in that position. Cue the Sportsheets Vibrating Doggy Style Strap.

This set comes in a fairly attractive box featuring a couple demonstrating how to use the system. Don't be too quick to throw away this packaging, the brief descriptions on the box are the only instructions you receive.

The Doggy Style Strap set is a fairly simple design. There is a cushion to rest softly against your clitoris, a strap that attaches to the cushion with velcro and a bullet that fits into a pocket in the cushion to provide the all important vibrations. The strap and cushion both seem well made and it is pretty easy to see what they are supposed to do.

The bullet is simple and single speed, it takes 3 LR44 batteries. It is fairly powerful and features a simple click type on/off switch at the base. When we first tried to switch this bullet on it didn't work and after several attempts at reinserting the batteries we thought we would have to make use of Lovehoney's amazing customer service. Just before we contacted them though, we found the problem. It seems the cap has to be EXTREMELY tight or it just won't work.

We also found that other types of bullet fit into the cushion pocket so you could use one of your favourite toys instead of the included one. My multispeed bullets fit as does my favourite wired one so theoretically you could control the power of the vibrations during intercourse, making the whole setup infinitely more useful.

After attaching the cushion to an appropriate place on the strap and slipping the bullet into the pocket in the cushion we were ready to give the setup a try. Things didn't quite go according to plan however.

The actual strap does everything you could ask for, it is excellent quality and is comfortable during use. The cushion is a different story unfortunately. No matter how hard we tried, we simply couldn't get the cushion (and consequently the bullet) to rest against my clitoris during use. After much fumbling and readjusting, we both realised that the mood was well and truly gone but that only made us more determined to get it to work. It wasn't to be though, we just couldn't crack it no matter what we tried, I am not sure if it was down to body shape but we couldn't get the cushion anywhere near my clitoris during use.

I am sure the strap part of this set will see plenty of action in the future as it really does help you get into position but it is disappointing that the cushion cannot deliver vibrations to the correct place at the same time.

In theory, the Sportsheets Vibrating Doggy Style Strap is an amazing piece of kit but it didn't quite deliver in practice for us.
