What really appealed to me about this outfit from the numerous other chemises was the design and value. My OH has a thing about skulls and demons so I thought it'd work well to play off on that too.

The order came through very quickly using Lovehoney's free delivery service - usually the next day after despatching. Discreet as always. The brand Dreamgirl lingerie tend to come in minimalistic pink polka dot box packaging with the same image provided on the product page. I find this feminine and eco-friendly.

Look and Feel:

The fabric itself is very sheer and light. Perfect to glide along your curves. I like how the skulls on the bust area are similar to velvet and stand out from the sheer material. The cut and design of the chemise is beautiful and quite simple. It does seem to draw attention to the bust really well.

The thong is very basic. It has a small sheer fabric attached to elastic. I'm not a big fan of the thongs. They fit ok and did appear to have more stretch to accommodate bigger sizes.

Fitting and Sizing:

This is a little tricky to describe. Although this chemise is a halterneck there isn't much support for the bust area. The cups don't fit as wonderfully as the images suggest as support is quite minimal. I also found that the chemise is quite roomy on top- so it's ideal for bigger busted women. However, if you're worried about support I would be cautious in purchasing this piece. A plain black bikini top would help fix this issue though!

The rest of the chemise fit nicely- gently caressing my curves. As a size 16/18 I found the top almost perfect. The bust area did well in accommodating my DD cup size however it still felt a tad roomy on top. I'd agree with the overall sizing indicated as there did appear to be a lot of stretch in the fabric.

A little niggly problem was the fact that the halterneck tie-back was a thin piece of elastic so it tends to dig in when I try and tighten it for better support on top...

Verdict:

I think you definitely get what you pay for with this piece of lingerie. It's not a staple piece bit it does add another element to the other plain sheer chemises. I think the sizing can be a little hit and miss but thankfully it fit well for me, personally. I also love the long piece of satin that is best used for gentle restraints. Not so well as a blindfold but you're free to experiment! Overall, I do recommend this product and suggest utilising Lovehoney's wonderful returns policy if the fitting doesn't go too well.
