Yummy cherry PJs part 2
Reviewed: 02 Apr 2011 by Miss BoomStick, an Engaged Bisexual Female
Sexy! Comfy! Fantastic!
I bought these pyjamas as a treat to myself and mostly because of how much I love the short version of this set.
I'm so glad I have both pairs, now I can mix and match!
They are so comfortable to wear and are by far my first choice of nightwear.
The trousers fit lovely, little long but I am only 5 foot.
The top is a bit small but I blame that on my boobies, I always struggle finding tops to fit. Still it's a nice top and keeps you very cool. I didn't realise that it's almost see-through, not that it's a problem as the black bit at the top covers everything up nicely.
Not much else I can say about this set other then GET IT! It's worth the price tag.

- Pros
- Everything! I even mix and match them with the short ones.
- Cons
- The tops a bit on the small side.
- Bottom line
- I just love them. Comfy yet still sexy.

Gorgeous... but on someone else
Reviewed: 16 Dec 2011 by BashfulBabe, a Going Steady Straight Female
I actually remember when this range of sleepwear came to Lovehoney and wishing I could afford them. Unfortunately, I couldn't, so I blocked them from my covetous mind until last week, when this set popped up in the 50% off offer. At that price I could very much so justify the expense as a Christmas pressie to myself, and I leapt on it.
When I ripped open my parcel, I was impressed at just how silky the satin material was, as well as the vibrancy of the colouring. All too often, I'll see satin pjs that feel more like a cross between nylon and cardboard, or just flat-out slimy polyester. The pants and cups were deliciously soft and smooth, quite light to the touch but yet with a feeling of robustness. I did baulk a little at just how sheer the red part of the top is - the other review mentioned that it was almost see-through, but I'll say she really is not overstating it! - but even with the nylon-y look, it felt soft and delicate, and not at all scratchy.
The trouble for me came at the fitting stage. Given I'm rather blessed in the bosom department, I'd opted for the Large as a 14-16, despite being a 12, so I was expecting the pants to be loose at the waistband, and was fully prepared to pop a stitch in to make them sit more snugly. However, that was not an issue: the elastic in the waistband is very generous, so it sat just right on my rather protuberant hips, but had enough give in it to not make me question the upper size.
The one thing I hadn't considered too carefully with them was the leg length. I'm a stocky 5'2", and take it for granted that standardised measurements in trousers will leave me with a spare inch or so trailing on the ground. I can live with that, as the alternative means taking every item I ever buy to be altered, and most of the time that'll cost more than I paid for it in the first place, so much easier to just adapt. Anyway, when I tried these on I was surprised to find a good five inches of excess material pooling on my bedroom floor. These are quite literally unwearably long without alteration for someone who's a little "vertically challenged": if you require less than a 32" leg length, you'll have some issues with these.
For the top, I was likewise thwarted by my body. At a 36F/FF, I do find myself struggling to fit into the more skimpy of items, but this really did make me feel a bit Gulliver-in-Lilliput. I had boobage bulbing out both sides and down into the red section, with the beautiful cherry-print triangle barely covering a handful. I'd guess that they're more designed for a B/C cup, as most of the "average" stuff is, and that much beyond a D is wishful thinking...get to my stage, and that becomes closer to delusion.
It really does make me a bit blue, that having lusted after these for so long, and then seen that they are well and truly worth the high price tag, I learn I cannot wear them. It will be with a heavy heart that I trudge through the snow to return these. Honestly, there's not a thing wrong with the product, it's just not designed for my body shape: anyone with smaller boobs and longer legs would do well to snap these up before they fly out the door.

- Pros
- Beautiful design, very well made, super sexy and comfortable design.
- Cons
- Top too small for my boobs, and pants too long for my legs.
- Bottom line
- Fantastic pjs, really wish they fit me. I'll cry as I return them.
