Product Description
If one call could set you on a trail to the heart of your darkest fantasy, would you make it? Charlotte does, and her bold decision propels her into a world where no desire is too outrageous, decadent or extravagant to be satisfied - for a price.
Her own fantasy life merges with reality when she is hired to work for the shadowy organisation she first encountered as a client. She organises an array of wild set pieces involving banquets, film productions and mansions full of pleasure slaves, as well as thoroughly researching those requests that chime with her own kinky tastes. Two men, one woman, and every sexual fantasy imaginable - these are the ingredients that make up the business of pleasure.

Pleasure indeed
Reviewed: 29 Dec 2012 by loz2383, a Married Straight Female
I was surprised by the way this book was written and how it would go from the story to another, but once I realised this it become enjoyable and interesting to find how all these fantasies were brought together.
I enjoyed the main characters' story with Charlotte and her bosses and the sex scenes are "wetting" and really enjoyed the book.
I would definitely recommend this book to my friends and would read a book by the same author too.

Another corker from Ms. Elyot

Being a big fan of Justine's previous book, On Demand (Black Lace), I was very excited to get my hands on her latest release, The Business of Pleasure. This, like the author's previous book, isn't a novel. It's a collection of short stories written to a theme.
The main protagonist in the book is Charlotte. Looking for some spice in her life, she signs up to have her deepest, dirtiest fantasy fulfilled by some shadowy agency which specialises in such things. She gets what she wants, and a whole lot more. Turns out the bosses running the company have an interest in her, over and above taking her money. And this is where the real fun begins. Charlotte winds up working for the guys, helping to make other people's fantasies come true.
However, Charlotte is considered to be so much more than an employee and things quickly become deeper and darker than she ever imagined possible. Is Charlotte in over her head, or can she handle the business of pleasure?
Well, what a fab book! I don't want to give too much away, but I definitely think it works as a collection of stories. I'll be honest, I didn't enjoy The Business of Pleasure quite as much as On Demand, but that's purely because some of the themes included in the book aren't to my tastes. But that's not to say they're not to yours. There's lots of sex (naturally), spanking, bondage, swinging and much more.
The writing is superb; it flows wonderfully, the characters are very alive and the dialogue is sparky. I whizzed through the book in a matter of days, it was that interesting and easy to read.
If BDSM and darker themes are your bag, then you should definitely grab yourself a copy of this book. Immediately.

Something for most erotic fiction readers
Reviewed: 24 Nov 2012 by StripyEnigma, a Single Bisexual Female
Firstly, this book isn't just one story. It has a few stories combined to make one overall linked story. Throughout the book it follows a lady, Charlotte, who has some BDSM kinks of her own and looks for a way to satisfy them. The book follows not only different (very rich) customers who pay to have the perfect fantasy they desire, but the people who provide the service as well.
The book is brilliant because not only does it provide a clever way of linking different fantasies and different characters, it provides a base to give readers a way of considering their own fantasies coming true in real life (if only such a wonderful service existed... or I had money to pay for such a wonderfully elegant and classy service).
The only downside is there may be one or two fantasies that does not appeal to a reader. If you are not into BDSM then this is certainly not the book for you. However, even if one of the side plot scenes are not to your taste, it does not matter as you are quickly transported back into the full story.

- Pros
- Pretty easy to read and has some diverse stories.
- Cons
- One sections - perfectly fine story but didn't grasp my imagination.
- Bottom line
- Brilliant book which would suit most into BDSM erotica, including erotica newbies.
