      Despite a shaky storyline there were some good sex scenes in this book although the end was very disjointed from the rest of story.

      Despite it being a spanking book it was mainly humiliating for the main character of Jemima so if humiliation is your thing then it's perfect for you! Penny Birch is a brilliant author and this was sadly not quite up to her usual standard. :(

      I am very sorry to say that I have not made it to the end of this book and I do not think I ever will. Unlike other books I have read where there is a story line which pulls you in very quickly this one failed to grab me at all.

      I could not get my head around why Jemima would pleasure herself over something she claimed to feel humiliated about and then harp on about it again and again. I do not feel it was well written as there was far too much useless filler. Maybe I'm just picky but things are pretty busy in my house and I dont really have a lot of me time so I like it when they get straight to the point and stay there. I will not be put off other spanking books because of this one.

      I enjoy reading about spanking and submission, but this adds far too much humiliation and shame.

      As other reviewers have said, there are some highly unpleasant scenes. You're far better off ordering 'Over the Knee' by Fiona Locke or 'Blushing at Both Ends' by Philip Kemp – both are infinitely classier than this.
