Is there anything Lelo doesn't succeed at
Reviewed: 11 Nov 2011 by RedCheeks, a Married Bisexual Female
This was the first flogger I have ever bought. Having never been someone who likes being on the receiving end of pain a flogger was one of the few sex toy/bondage items I went years without feeling the need to buy.
But then I saw that Leo had made a flogger, and it looked luxurious and came in vibrant, pretty colours. That was it, I was sold and had to have one.
The box this arrived in the usual upmarket style box that you will find with every Lelo product, very similar to the boxes their vibrators come in. It's black and glossy and screams of class.
The flogger itself is small but no smaller then what you would expect from the photo of it. I got mine in red. At first I was very tempted to get the purple but seeing as the red seemed like such a lustful colour I chose that instead and was very glad I did.
Upon opening the box you are taken aback by how beautifully made this is. The handle of the flogger is shiny and feminine and well, expensive looking. The silver ball at the end of the handle pulls the whole look of the flogger together. And yes the other thing about this flogger's handle is just how tempting it looks, so smooth and perfectly formed that it almost has the look of stylish a glass dildo.
The suede tails feel soft and sensual and beg to be ran along your skin, and that is what I love about this flogger in use. This isn't a flogger for someone who craves pain or punishment. This is the perfect teaser to run along someone's cheeks, back or thighs. I know it drives me wild every time.
The one thing with my flogger was that it did shed quite a bit in the first few uses and I was worried that it would continue to, but beyond the first three plays this wasn't a problem anymore so don't panic if you notice a little shedding at first.

- Pros
- Beautifully made, stylish and feminine looking.
- Cons
- Slight shedding on the first few uses.
- Bottom line
- Beautiful luxury item, perfect for tickling and teasing.

Mr Whippy, you charmer
Reviewed: 14 Feb 2011 by Pixieking, a Single Gay Male
Okay, I admit it, I’m a Lelo addict. Lelo embody a quality in sex toys that only the highest companies achieve, and when I saw the flogger I’d been desiring for so long in a three for £50 offer I couldn’t resist it. I got myself a beautiful, practical and kinky bit of kit, and I’m so glad I finally own it.
It comes, as always, in LH’s fantastically discreet packaging, and opening it uncovers the box for this kinky little whip. The outer box is black, glossy and embellished with a picture of the whip in your chosen colour, and hides the inner, signature black canvas box that houses all Lelo products. I love these boxes: they are so useful for keeping toys safe and sound.
The whip itself is beautiful, and I mean beautiful. I chose the red and the colour is so sexy and vibrant and hot, hot, hot. With true Lelo quality in mind, this whip has substance as well as style. The acrylic handle, capped with a stainless steel collar and a weighty end ball, is sturdy at 5 and a half inches long and fits the hand really well, allowing you to direct the supple strands that make up the tail whoever you like. The tails themselves are perfect for me. At 8 and a half inches long they are nice and easy to control, and allow you to brush and trail and flog with a good amount of control. They are made of a soft, real suede material which allows you to flick your lover lightly or give them a thwack with a satisfying but tempered sting, making it a perfect beginner flogger or a teaser flogger for those with more experience. The size would also make it perfect for those that wish to take something away with them without needing to take a larger, bulkier whip.
I would say though to be careful using this if you’ve been using oils or lubes on the skin before hand, because you don’t want to go staining the suede, as it’s not an easy material to clean. It’s just the nature of the material. You also will find that it leaves little coloured flecks behind when you first take it out and use it. Just give it a flick about and a few tester whippings and they will soon dissipate without any damage to the toy. These must just be a remnant of the finishing process.
One of the big attractions I saw in this toy is possibly unintentional, or rather, overlooked. This is a secret weapon: the large steel ball at the base of the handle is a sensual addition in its own right.
Picture this. Your lover is bent over the edge of the bed, gasping and yelping as you trail the soft tails across their behind and deliver skin pinkening whacks, when, unexpectedly, they feel a cold, firm smoothness run across the base of their spine, pulling down, tracing the crease of their cheeks
This toy can deliver warm, pink smacks and smooth, cold firmness all in one. Two sides of the coin in one toy. I love a toy that delivers versatility and the Lelo Sensua really does.
Overall, it’s a fantastic addition to any toybox, no matter if you are just dipping your toes in the sense play waters or you’ve been flogging for years and your old faithful has finally worn out. The quality of this wont let you down, and while it’s undoubtedly more expensive than other alternatives, you wont get the same experience and longevity as you will with this.

- Pros
- It's beautiful, well made, and I love the steel ball.
- Cons
- Didn't like? Are you mad?
- Bottom line
- It's a wonderful, slightly tame flogger that will get you naughty.

A slight sting of luxury
Reviewed: 01 Dec 2011 by SelectZen, a Married Bisexual Male
My partner first ordered the Lelo Sensua Suede whip a little over a year ago. When it eventually arrived we were both impressed with the quality of the packaging. After all, luxury and style is what Lelo is all about. A whole year later we still keep it in the fancy black box it arrived in, the word “Lelo” emblazoned on the top.
My first thought on taking the flogger out was elegance! It is a superb piece of equipment. It has a wonderful handle made of translucent plastic with a tint of red to it (also available in black and purple), it screams luxury. The end is capped with a little steel ball. The handle itself looks like a beautifully crafted insertable dildo.
But I digress, the real beauty of this toy is in the suede, it feels amazingly soft to the touch and once again shows how luxurious the item is. I am the submissive partner in our relationship and my partner is not terribly into pain so this item was great for us. It is not the kind of whip you would use to punish someone and you would have to work very hard to inflict anything serious in terms of pain. This item is however a superb sensory device, it can tickle, slap lightly and create impact without pain, with a little more force it can sting. However it is not a serious pain inflicting whip/flogger when compared to a knotted leather flogger or a rubber one for that matter, it is a nicer and gentler toy. Since getting it we have enjoyed a lot of use. It is a luxury item of course, but if you have the money to spend it is worth picking one up.
My main criticism is upon using it first we noticed a lot of shedding, finding little red specks all over our bed and our clothes. Fortunately after the first three or four uses this subsided and after many subsequent uses there is little if any shedding
-
- Pros
- Elegent, luxurious, beatutiful, in short, Lelo!
- Cons
- Some minor shedding on initial use, not for serious pain enthusiasts.
- Bottom line
- Great for light play, can work as a stepping stone to heavier items.
