Well thought out packaging, great price

Ordered these as part of a larger order from Lovehoney and as normal they were delivered well within the time frame given.

The first thing I would say is that the price is fantastic compared to other places. If you try shopping around a bit on the web, you will be very very lucky if you find a better price with free delivery. I got these in the sale for £2 but they are worth the full price easily.

The second thing is that these can be very tricky to buy in a shop so being able to buy them as part of your order on LH is great. As someone else mentioned, you can only go buy so many watch batteries from local jewellers/shoe repairs places before they will look at you funny.

The third thing to mention, and by no means the least, is that they last very well and the packaging is fantastically thought out. No loose batteries ending up getting lost and rumbling about in the bottoms of drawers because they fell out of the hole you made to open the packet. These have a little wheel that rotates around so you can easily access one at a time and the hole on the back is a flap you can reclose to keep the rest in place. Worth buying if only for the case to keep them in!

All in all, you'll be hard pressed to beat these.

These batteries were my third order from Lovehoney. As usual, they arrived very quickly - one thing I love about LH.

Upon opening the batteries and getting some out to put in one of my bullets, I fell in love with the packaging. Not only do these batteries come in sixes (great because the bullet takes 3 at a time) but they come in a rotating package. By this I mean there is a resealable hole in the back, and you rotate the battery-holding part of the pack to deposit the little batteries safely into your hand. No dropped batteries, and certainly none coming loose in the drawer. This alone was enough to impress me.

These batteries are of very good quality and are just as powerful as the likes of Duracell. In the past I've noticed that after the first use, vibrations are noticeably weaker, but that wasn't the case with these.

These are definitely worth the small amount I paid for them, I'd happily pay double simply because of the convenient packaging.

I also saw mentioned in a previous review that the batteries say "Sex Cell" on them, but the ones which I have don't say this.

It is always a little off-putting when looking at toys that take these types of batteries as they aren't always easy to get hold of (how many times can you go into your local jewellers for a watch battery?!).

These are a good value pack and the batteries last well. It is useful that this is a pack of 6 as a lot of bullets I own take 3 at a time.

The only thing I would say is that the batteries say sex cell on them, not a problem when inside a sex toy or stored away but be careful if someone asks if you have any!

I have a fair few cell battery powered vibes and living in a less than metropolitan area could never find a source for the pesky LR44s. I did try ordering online from various battery specialist stores but found that the name brand ones were extortionate - think in terms of £30 per hour of use - and the more affordable versions, well, some of them couldn't even get it to turn on when fresh from the packet! These might not be specifically Duracell but they do have the lifespan of a top-quality battery so there's no skimping on performance here.

LH now stock a few different LR44 packs: a 2-pack, a 10-pack, and this 6-pack. Personally, I'll always be more of a fan of the 6-pack since all the bullets I have that use LR44s take three at a time.

I do love the packaging for the simple reason that I always find that, after tearing into the standard cardboard packaging and winkling out the few I need, the rest take it upon themselves to shuffle out of that gap (surprisingly easily, given how I'd struggled to free their brothers!) and scurry into the corners of the drawer, or down into some nook or cranny, only to reappear when some dead batteries are tossed in their direction. It is, quite frankly, infuriating.

Maybe I just don't have enough to be truly concerned about, but it did give me great joy to find how these were packed. The plastic part keeps the batteries in place, and the back wheel means that I only could open a gap for one battery to pop out, with minimal fuss, and then spin the gap to match another battery's 'pod'. Once I'd extracted the few I needed, I could leave the gap over a dead 'pod' and the remaining few stayed locked inside, clearly separate from the drained cells I have the awful habit of ditching in the drawer until I can recycle them. Such a simple thing, and yet ingenious.

At this price, I can afford to dust off those neglected bullets whenever I fancy, and I don't have to spend forty minutes testing handfuls of loose batteries swimming about a drawer.

Remember that bullet you loved the look of, bought and used for a bit only to find that the batteries were those cell ones? So you put it in a drawer and forgot about it? Well find that bullet and dust it off!

A lot of smaller toys and bullets have cell batteries, LR44 being used the most. This is good because they are very small and can fit in the much smaller sex toys whereas regular batteries can't.

This is all very well and good except, when they run out, it's difficult to buy these batteries.

It's great now LH stocks them as you never need to worry and now you can use the dusty bullet vibe again. This size is really great value as well.

A problem I have found though is that, due to the size of cell batteries, when they are dropped they are usually gone until you have a major tidy up. I suggest changing them over the bed.

Please recycle these at your local recycling facility (or some supermarkets have the same scheme). Don't bin them!
