After trying various other lubes which either went tacky or dried up after two minutes I was so impressed with Liquid Silk.

It's a slightly thicker consistency to others I've tried and a little really does go a long way.

It's long last and so soft.

The sachet is a really handy way to try it out and decide if Liquid Silk is the lube for you - and there's a lot more in there than you may first think!

I use masturbation toys more than my hands these days as my hands are prone to blistering (probably something I'm doing ;-)) so I need to find a lube that worked well with them.

I have tried Durex lubes but they tend to leave you a bit numb and a bit odd after but this solved it!

I use an anal applicator to put it in my toy but then it makes for a damn good time ;-).

It comes out of the easy to open packet and has a colour that resembles cum (does not matter to me but might to some of you girls, gay or bi men out there), then once you are done just throw the packet away. It's good for those of you doing the bad man that don't want anyone finding out what you get up too when they're out ;-).

Every time you use Liquid Silk a baby unicorn will leap out and love you. Forever.

Well, not exactly but this is quite simply the best lube on the market. My definitive, desert island lube.

Packaging: It comes in a generously sized sachet that tears open easily. For a taster product, there’s more than enough to experiment with and decide if Liquid Silk is the one for you. It’s also a great buy in its own right because they slip discreetly into the thinnest of clutch bags.

Consistency: I’ve tried a lot of lubes. The worst ones were oily or stuck to me like syrup but Liquid Silk is the winning formula. It’s not runny or too thick and it’s uncannily similar to natural lubrication.

Taste: It’s a neutral flavor that I didn’t notice during oral sex. Save a situation where you’re gargling lube, I doubt that you’ll notice it either.

Feel: As soon I massaged the product in, I noticed the difference. It didn’t feel like a synthetic layer sitting on top of my skin and neither of us felt like we had to hose each other down afterwards. It was an added bonus that it made my skin feel super soft.

Sex Appeal: I’ve always thought that the best bedroom accessories are those that don’t steal the show and this lube has that couple friendly appeal. I simply forgot that we were ‘using lube’ and enjoyed its benefits. This is why I would recommend Liquid Silk to anyone who feels a little shy about using lube and wants something to feel natural.

Using with Toys: As a water based lube, Liquid Silk should be compatible with all kinds of toys. The 2% silicone in the ingredients causes me to hesitate at using it with my silicone vibes but it’s still a great way to help things along.

Endurance: The first time I used Liquid Silk, I really overestimated how much would be needed. Use with caution! If you squeeze out more that a drop, you’ll be spreading slippy stuff about your lover’s person like a short-sighted finger painter.

Mishaps aside, it’s great value for money and I never had the need to top up.

Comparison I’m a big fan of another high quality lube range -Sliquid - but Liquid Silk has replaced it as my all time favorite. It’s superior in look, feel and durability and worthy of being ordered by the gallon.

Conclusion: These sachets are a nifty way to try out Liquid Silk and they persuaded me to spend a little extra on the full size bottle. It’s a bedside essential and absolute heaven.
