Before this arrived I just loved the professional look of this device compared with the cheaper offerings. I've used a penis pump off and on before but it was a straight sided plain device, it was good quality but not very comfortable to use so when the time come to replace it I figured I'd try something different.

Pumping in the bath is a pretty good idea as the warm water helps everything relax ready for a stretch in the pump and, as the manual states, helps with blood circulation in your penis. You can use it in the shower as well and it even comes with a handy shower strap to support it but my favourite place to use it is in the bath so I can relax.

While on this subject - it won't really work without water in it as its a hydropump, not an air pump. I have found you can fill the pump over the bath, apply vacuum and then walk around with the shower strap on though!

Another important difference between this and my old pump is that it's very hard to over-vacuum due to its design - in fact I can't see this happening using the Bathmate but it did happen once with my standard pump and it put me out of action for a few days.

Having shaved and relaxed in the bath, using the Bathmate is just so easy; position it over your member, make sure its filled with water, then push down a few times against your body until it feels like you have the right vacuum. There are no cumbersome tubes to get in the way as the pumping action occurs in the soft rubber base built into the device.

I was surprised how hard you have to push down to get a vacuum at first, you get used to this though and once you do you realise it's really easy to control the amount of vacuum you're applying.

Another thing to note - it holds the applied vacuum really well thanks to that rubber round the base. Despite its size and weight full of water I found it won't fall off even without the shower strap - probably still a good idea to use it though!

I haven't used the Bathmate every day since I got it, but I do look forward to using it a lot more than I did my old pump; it really feels as if its been designed with a lot of thought, and by people who have experience with cock pumping.

More importantly it works - sex after being in the Bathmate for only 20 minutes is awesome.

Be warned - the Goliath is very big - there are smaller Bathmate sizes available if you don't want to feel dwarfed by the thing but I'm happy to have room for expansion.

When I bought this pump it seems pointless. But it was just bad thinking. When I decided to use this toy for the first time, I could not wait to start it working. When using the pump I really feel that my penis is really growing.

We've been discussing buying a Bathmate for some time, and finally bit the bullet. WEEK ONE:

My first impressions on collection of the Bathmate were something along the lines of "JESUS WEPT, it's a Darlek Cock Monster!". However, after reading the instructions and how it works, and in men's terms... it's a water vacuum/massager for cock that subsequently adds volume to your schlong, which actually seems a pretty well thought out idea. The principle idea being that warm water and the vacuum create a state of growth so to speak, by encouraging blood flow to the cock thus enlarging it without the need for getting wood.
