I wasn't sure what to expect with the Pjur Med Natural Glide lube because we don't really use lube.

The bottle is a good size. Disappointingly no pump action though. It's a squeezy bottle with a twist cap which made things a littlle slippery once applied - you try getting that lid back off for re-application!

But it’s easily squeezed out of the bottle and we left the lid off so not too much of an issue. We accidentally knocked it on the floor and it didn't leak out of the bottle so definite plus.

It is a good consistency - for example squeeze a blob on your hand and it doesn't run - it pretty much maintains its shape and consistency. This was pleasing.

There is a faint smell to the lube. I'm not sure what it is, it’s not unpleasant and you have to shove it almost under your nose in order to detect it so it really wasn't an issue for it. You definitely cannot smell it when using it during sex/foreplay. There is also a taste to it; it wasn’t unpleasant to me but my partner didn’t like it at all; I almost want to say there is a delicate fruity taste (maybe cherry?) but please don’t hold me to that!

It applies very easily and my partner said using the lube was almost like me using my mouth on him, just not as warm. It didn’t irritate either of us, no stinging, no overly stickiness; just slide-y-ness.

Considering we don’t use lube, this made a difference! It was good fun! And it also made me feel a little moisturised; like using it was not only adding to our enjoyment but also moisturising our body parts at the same time (although I don’t recommend using this as a body cream or anything!).

We only re-applied it once and this was partly so we could give it a good road test. It didn’t dry out whilst we were using it which was a bonus. It says that it is a long last lubrication and I would agree. It is suitable for use with latex too.

We both enjoyed using it and will definitely be using it again. And again. And again. It didn’t need to be constantly reapplied and it did feel like it had moisturising properties.

I would like to try other things in the range and would recommend this lube – if you can get passed the slightly medicinal feel and the German all over the bottle (not very romantic looking).
