    1. Product Description

Romance and roses go hand in hand, but we could all do without rolling onto thorns in the throes of passion. These realistically scented artificial rose petals look and smell as good as the real thing but wont smoosh or stab you when things steam up.

Made from fabric, these petals are gorgeously detailed and when scattered look exactly like the real thing! They're even colourfast (tried and tested) so no hot tub, bath or pool is out of bounds.

There are approximately 100 petals per pack, each measuring roughly 2.5 inches in length and 2 inches in width. Fully reusable, just collect them up and pack them away for next time.

A perfect present to gift the bride-to-be on her hen night, no wedding night is complete without a luxurious bead of roses to commence the honeymoon.

    1. Add some romance to the bedroom

Reviewed: 18 June 2013 by Khaleesi, a Straight Going Steady Female

This is a great little product if you’re looking to add some romance to the bedroom.

I bought these as a surprise for my OH so we could take some ‘American Beauty’ style pictures, which was great fun! They look really realistic and look amazing in the shots.

One downside is getting them back in the box. As the review below says, the petals come in two neat stacks which you have to unpeel… getting them back into the box is a bit tricky.

They are called “Rose Petal Explosion” so I guess I should have seen that coming! However this is quickly solved by keeping them in a drawstring bag.

They look lovely in a bath, but they do sink quite quickly.

All in all a great product and exactly what I was after. They are much cheaper than buying the real thing and I can’t wait to use them again for a romantic candle lit evening or taking some more sexy snaps. Xx

    1. Pretty good for a fake

Reviewed: 04 August 2011 by Ladyredlocks, a Straight Single Female

I have always been quite enamoured of the idea of a romantic evening ending on a bed strewn with rose petals but the expense and practicalities have always stopped me from actually doing it (I imagine that squished rose is quite hard to wash out of the sheets!) Therefore I was very excited to see what my little box of fake petals would be like.

My first impressions were very good. I think that the packaging for this product is very attractive. The Lovehoney photo shows the outer sleeve which I think looks very classy, then from within this you pull out a pretty little cream box with cutouts through which you can see the petals. When I opened the box I found two neat little stacks of rose petals. I admit that some of the edges weren’t totally smooth due to the fabric they’re made of. However the colouring and shape are very nice and quite realistic. There is slight variation of the dye on the petals so some have a little more white than others or some are a little darker in places. They have a perfume as described and I found it to be quite faint but nice.

When I first unpeeled a small heap of petals and looked at them in bright daylight I wasn’t sure if they’d look real enough to be pretty. Once night had drawn in I artfully arranged a few on my bed and turned the lamp on and the main light off. Suddenly they looked quite lovely. I then lay on them to check how they feel against bare skin. They’re a bit too scratchy for my liking so would need to be swept out of the way before any long sessions! In the interests of science I also filled my sink with warm water and placed a few petals on it. They floated for a few seconds then started to sink to they might not be that practical for baths. The worst thing about these is probably having to pick them all back up to put them back in the box but I think that I’ll be letting my man do that!

All in all I think that this is quite a nice product and would be very suitable as a gift or as a treat to complete a romantic evening in.
