Monogamy: A Hot Affair Game Extras Kit

We bought the Monogamy board game a few months ago, and it's great fun to play, but you do need a few 'extras' to get the most out of it. So, it's fantastic to now be able to buy an Extras Kit to complement the game.

We were really pleased with the quality of all the individual components within the kit and it's nothing like those tacky and novelty 'sex in a bag' selections you can buy.

Between us, my Husband and I must have 40+ sex toys/accessories, but even so, this kit is still worth buying.

The suggestion cards 'refresh' the selection you get in the original board game. The blindfold is a nice quality and comfortable to wear. The silk ties are lovely and are a perfect substitute for my restraint cuffs when the game calls for something more sensual. The candle has a lovely sweet smell, similar to that of some of the Durex Play lubes (strawberry and cherry).

The paddle is a particular favourite of mine - I love its size and I actually prefer it to the tabble-tennis-bat-style paddle I already own.

The feather tickler is a revelation - I've never played with one of these and it's fantastic. Again, it's a really good size and not threatening at all.

The bullet is fantastic and the vibes are very strong considering its size. I can't believe you get a bullet of such good quality in this kit - I've bought bullets individually that've been shockingly poor, but this is great - and it comes with a battery. And because it's black you could argue it's more masculine looking, and therefore it's not going to make your fella freak out if you or the game suggests exploring his balls or any other place you care to venture. I like the bullet so much that I think I'll keep it in my make-up bag when we're not playing Monogamy!

We are super impressed with this kit and despite our vast collection of toys and accessories, we still feel this has added something new to our toy drawer.

This may sound like a silly observation, but I love the tone of the red items in the kit - it's a really bright and passionate red.

The only other comment I could make is prehaps a little sachet of lube would've been a good inclusion in this kit, though it's not a problem for us as we keep bottle loads in our drawer :-) But if you're new to these sorts of things, it may've been handy. I don't think the massage candle is appropriate for intimate use.

Whether you're a sex toy virgin, or a couple who already have their own toys and want to get a bit more out of your next game of Monogamy, we highly recommend this.

A little bit extra

Me and my boyfriend have the original game and love it, but I got this extra kit as a surprise for him recently.

The kit itself has cards in it so you can just pick a card and act it out, or you can add them to the original game. However, not everyone always has time for this, and this kit is also great for these instances. If you do not have an array of toys to choose from starting your 'collection' can be expensive, especially if you've never tried things before and don't know if you'll like them. This box has plenty to offer and at a great price.

To be honest I was a bit dubious about the quality when I ordered it but when I opened it up like an excited kid at Christmas I was very surprised.

I have had lots of fun with this kit and plan to have lots more, so I would definitely recommend it, especially to anyone starting to experiment.

Great addition to the game

The original Monogamy game is pretty well known on here. I'd seen it, but never played it before so ordered it along with the extras box.

Everything in the extras box is fun - I haven't used (and probably won't) the paddle, but the blindfold is of reasonable quality and the tie-restraints are comfortable and silky and a sexy red colour.

The bullet is very powerful for its size - my wife seems to like it, and you could expect to pay up to a tenner for that alone. So in terms of pushing boundaries inside a trusting relationship, this is a good and fun addition. You can play with what you want and ignore anything you don't.
