These are perfect.

I could end right there! When we were ordering my partner and I were trying to decide who was right - whether you got just the three stones with writing on, or all of the smaller ones too. I'm pleased to say that you receive all of the stones, if anyone else is unsure.

Our bag wasn't as nice as the one in the image - rather than a soft, red velvet bag we got a rough black one, but the stones were nice, which is what matters really.

There is also a small instruction page with suggestions for using the stones; e.g. along the arms, or the stomach, not just the back, which was really nice and allowed my otherwise clueless O.H to prepare the stones as a surprise while I showered.

To use them you can either pour boiling water from the kettle over them (easier, and quicker but they retain less heat this way), or you can simmer them in a pan over the hob, which I think is most suitable if you really want to take your time with them.

I found that the stones work best with a small amount of oil, just enough so that you or your partner can glide them along the skin, as if you use too much the stones do tend to slide off.

There are similar sets elsewhere, both online and offline, but I've certainly not seen any match this quality and price - in fact I'm buying another set to give as a gift right now!

Can't recommend these enough; as gifts for others, for their therapeutic merit, or as a great way to work up to getting your rocks off, just go for it.

I gave my partner these for Valentine's Day after she asked for the same treatment from a spa.

These rocks definitely delivered and she really enjoyed the relaxing sensation they provided.

They are smooth and a product that will last. I wondered if the writing would come off the stones but they are well made. Even the bag they come in is luxurious and velvety.

This would make a great gift for anyone and would highly recommend it. Maybe best not to tell your mum which site you ordered them from though. ;)

My partner often experiences back pain so I bought these hot rocks as a stocking filler for his Christmas.

Due to the Christmas post they were later than was stated on arriving but did arrive on Christmas Eve. I had several other items in the order, unfortunately the bag the rocks come in hadn't been tied tight enough and during transit the rocks had become loose and had been rattling around in the box. When I opened it it was hard to tell if some of the marks and chips were natural of the stones or damaged from the journey. However none of them were sharp or would cause injury so they were still okay to use, but I do feel they could have easily become quite damaged, which would have been easily avoided if the bag had been tied tight to avoid them spilling out.

The stones feel lovely and the three stamped with words of affirmation is a lovely touch. I love massage as I find it so bonding and intimate.

In with the gift I added a beautiful sensual massage oil from another store. My partner was delighted with the gift and was really looking forward to trying them out.

We went by the instructions on the card that comes with the stones. We boiled the stones in water for a few minutes, drained and wrapped them in a towel to cool. Be careful as they do get very hot!

We got the candles, music, oil and the bed ready while we waited on the stones cooling. This took longer than I would have expected, and contrary to other reviews we found that the stones retained their heat very well when boiled in water rather than just laid in boiled water from the kettle.

I started with the oil dribbled on his skin then used the stones to take up some of the oil. He clearly enjoyed this as he moaned with delight. I laid the stones where his back hurt the most and while the muscles took on the heat I gave him a head massage with the warmed oil.

I then spent a while just moving the stones all over his back with different levels of pressure adding the oil as needed. It was a wonderful experience. He dozed off to sleep after a while. When I was finished I laid the stones across the back pain points then laid a warmed towel over him to stop him getting cold and let him sleep as I lay down beside him still stroking his body gently. He was so blissed out it was wonderful to see. He briefly woke to thank me before going back to sleep. The following morning he said he got a great sleep and his back felt eased and less tense.

All in all a wonderful product for bonding and intimacy. The productivity of the stones is enhanced with the use of a really good quality massage oil.

We are now looking for a massage face pillow to save strain on the neck from turning.
