Private Pleasures - Good for testing the water

The game comes in a small box which contains a bundle of cards and a dice. The idea of the game is that you roll the dice, which is covered with symbols - heart, lips etc - and you pick a card which has the corresponding symbol on it and then perform the instruction on the card.

In order to play the game and follow instructions on the cards you will need a variety of different things, including lube, massage oil, handcuffs, blindfold. There is also a card for an erotic movie and some edible things from the fridge. So best to be prepared before you play.

Also I would suggest best that you and your partner take a run through the cards before you play and remove any cards that you would not enjoy or would not be comfortable with - that way it'll avoid any awkwardness later on.

The game itself I think is intended for couples who might not have talked very much about what they are into sexually. The game can be used as a way to break the ice and allow discussion for those who might be a little shyer. The way things are phrased on the cards are very non-threatening and my partner and I found them to be kind of amusing, especially the 'Booby Sex' card. Not exactly what we call it, but hey.

None of the cards contain anything very out there (not that it necessarily needs to!), but for us it was all territory we'd covered before, or things that we've discussed before. We would do most of the things on the cards normally in our sex life, so rolling a dice to pick up a card with the suggestion to do something that we normally do didn't seem as fun as just deciding to do it, but that won't be the case for everyone.

I think if you are maybe in a new relationship, or even if you are in longer term one but want to test some boundaries and discover things, this game could be useful to you as it will help you to talk about things and try things while having a giggle at the same time. I don't think it would be to the tastes of those in more open sexual relationships - unless you really have a thing for throwing dice?
