I always enjoy trying out something new from Lovehoney and so I decided it was time to try a different lube. I have tried several over the past few years and I have always been surprised at just how different they can be even though they are supposedly all very similar.

The first impressions of the packaging of the Pjur lube looked promising, if a little smaller than I imagined, and so I thought it would be a good idea to put it through a very thorough testing (as if I needed an excuse!)

I started by applying a reasonably small amount of the lube to one of my masturbation sleeves, a Head Honcho, and a little spread thinly over the whole length of my penis.

It was soon obvious that this lube was not one that you could get away with applying in only small quantities. I very soon found that it dried up quite quickly and found myself needing to use the lube quite liberally to get the smooth feel I am used to when using this toy. However once the correct amount had been applied it did seem to last quite well.

Initially moving the sleeve up and down the full length of my shaft slowly and then inevitably gradually much faster, I felt that the lube did perform well without constantly needing to top up with more. I also tried the lube without a toy and again the results were good. I cannot say that I felt any of the extra benefits claimed by the manufacturers by the addition of herbal ingredients.

Overall, I would say it does the job but I thought it was expensive for the relatively small quantity you get for your money and I probably would not purchase it again as I much prefer the ID Glide lubes and will continue to use those.
