This was something I got as a surprise and not something I would have gone for myself. As always I have to give credit to LH for the packaging it came in - no marking on it, just a plain brown envelope like they say on the website (this is great to stop people asking lots of awkward questions).

When I got them I waited a while to try them and have to say "good things don't always come to those who wait".

These seemed very tight on me and I'm by in way bigger than average down there. At first I struggled to get in on and when I did it was digging into me, so started to roll it down and that was like some kind of torture being carried out. In the end I gave up as it was hurting too much and pulled the love ring off, which was a pity as I wanted it to be good.

We tried again later in the week and it was still very tight but this time I tried to stretch it before I put it on me (be careful, these don't give too much - I snapped the first one I tried). It stayed on while getting oral from my Wife but by God it was painful sometimes. The skin got trapped in between the sweets and my wife said the mints did not taste nice.

In my opinion there must be something else which is better to use.

Bought these a few months ago with a number of other items. Decided to leave them for a special occasion and got them out with my partner on our anniversary.

Unfortunately I regretted this almost straight away. They are far too tight, with no flexibility in the elastic at all. Could not get it over the end.

Very disappointing for us both. A painful experience trying to fit on.

To be avoided unless you are a very modest size below.

Worst Lovehoney product ever (I do not say that lightly)

I usually have a loose system of reviewing. Initially I go on about the excellent Lovehoney service and then progress through the good and bad points etc.

These really don't deserve a breakdown of the good and bad points. These were just bad. Bar the taste (and even that was a bit lacking), these were a disaster.

I don't know how or why these rings are so inflexible. They don't really stretch over a cock successfully. The actual children's sweets would actually be much better to use.

Apart from the inflexibility, these things are tough! Ceramic-grade sweets that almost require industrial intervention are not very sexy. Even when they do finally decide to break they explode into rough-edged shards, of which half a bead is trapped between the skin and the inflexible wire. To remove this part effectively requires scraping these sharp bits against your cock until they are finally free. "Great, only another few dozen to go…" Don't worry, the first few are the worst.

Another appalling idea is that (even if they were flexible and fitted) some numpty decided that making them angled on the edges, as opposed to rounded, would ensure much foreskin pinching when your unfortunate rescuer is nibbling you out. I don't think I've ever had so many bruises from something designed to be sexual.

Their value is poor, too. Three isn't a great number for what are basically the adult version of a 20p child's sweet. I won't even get on to the smaller issues like it being a bad idea to use sugary things by your 'sexy bits'.

I always want to produced a non-biased review in which even if a toy is not my kink it could be someone else's. Unless you enjoy pain, this isn't for you.
