I've been considering buying my g/f some anal/love beads for a few weeks now after she wouldn't shut up about 50 Shades! She's already done anal with me a few times but still finds it a black art. I thought if I got her some beads she might be a bit more open to me playing with her ass with these. She loved it when I used them in her vagina and had sex with her at the same time. That really hit a spot.

I wanted to see if she was as open to having them in her ass and she didn't complain at all. She did say it was a bit of a strange sensation, but not in a bad way. I'm pretty sure she's open to using them again (in her ass) and very happy to use them again in her vagina. All in all it was a very decent purchase that may open up a few doors for couples wanting to experiment with anal but are a little apprehensive. Sliding in one or two beads is not as intimidating as a dildo or butt plug so it's a bit better for her.

My only sticking point (no pun intended) is cleaning it afterwards. Relevant to any anal toy on reflection. Thorough cleaning of that area is advised to limit any unwanted mess post use.

Appealing to beginners

The packaging looked blinging and a bit brash but it encouraged the feeling of lighthearted enjoyment. After breaking into the packaging, I inspected the product.

The beads remind me of cherries, which is very appealing. They're a good size just like the size of small cherries! Yummy but you can see the cord through them so you know they're not edible lol. At first, the beads felt quite sticky and I was slightly concerned. So I cleaned them with my Lovehoney sex toy cleaner (which is a good product) and they were less sticky. After a few washes the sticky feeling drifts away. The beads are firm but they have slight flexibility to them which is good for insertion.

The thickness of the cord is a good size. It is firmly attached to the ring, which I was relieved about. The retrieval ring is a thick and solid red plastic so I believe there is low risk of the product breaking or any bits detaching. The jewels on the ring do look tacky but they are fun and they add bit of glitz.

The only thing I would have preferred would be the first two beads to be smaller and increasing to the size of the other beads. Therefore a beginner can get used to the insertion and size.

They're very easy to clean and dry quickly. Bit tricky to use at first because the cord is flexible but I soon got use to handling them and, inevitably, you begin to enjoy the product if you take your time (best not to rush these things).

If you're new to anal beads I would give them a go. If you're new to anal play, I would try other anal toys before trying the beads. If you wanna to buy a close friend a bit of a naughty but tongue in cheek fun present, it's ideal.
