This leather and tubular steel leg spreader allows you to put your lover in a spread-leg position that will help you achieve deeper penetration. Hold onto the bar to increase control in face-to-face positions with the added bonus of restricting your lover.
This leg spreader is both a bondage device and a position enhancer. Designed to spread the legs into an open leg position, the spacing bar can be used to help your lover hold their legs in overhead position as well as giving you something to hang onto.
At either side of the spreader bar is a leather cuff that locks tight around each ankle with the included padlocks for five different sizes (7.5 - 9 inch circumferences).
You can use this spreader to secure either the wrists (arm spreader) or ankles so your lover will be doing exactly as you say for as long as you're holding the keys.
The steel bar measures 19.5 inches across, giving you plenty of length to play with to create excellent spacing or restriction.
Perfectly designed, with no gratuitous embellishments, this is for lovers who want it delivered strict, keen and mean.

Petite Spreader Bar
Reviewed: 28 November 2011 by Miss-Nomer, a Bisexual Going Steady Female
Spreader bars have been right near the top of my kinky equipment list for a good many years now, so when I saw these in the sale a while back, I grabbed them up to test out. To be honest, I really wanted a longer bar, but at a third of the price, these seemed a better option to check I liked the general feel first.
These, like all the Bondage Boutique range (I believe), come packaged with a loyalty card and stickers in an easily opened clear plastic pouch: so no struggling to get at your new toy (leaving you lots of energy for more enjoyable struggling later on).
The bar has no nasty sharp bits; the ends are closed off and smoothed, although there is a slight dent in one end of mine. The rings and bar seem very solid, they can certainly stand up to a good wiggle around. The padlocks are your bog-standard suitcase/journal locks with the iny-outy keys, so if you lose the keys (it comes with two), you shouldn't be hard pressed to find spares. The cuffs themselves lock securely and are pretty sturdy, whilst still being soft and supple, 'though the edges are a touch rough. The cuffs can't be detached from the bar without opening the big rings, which isn't the easiest of tasks, although I'd imagine it's doable with brute strength or the right tools.
These fit my 7.5" ankles perfectly on the loosest setting, but they are definitely snug. My boyfriend, on the other hand, has 8.5" ankles, and whilst he can get them on, it's not at all comfortable or sensible to leave them on more than a few minutes, so I think you should stay clear if your ankles are any thicker than 7.5-8" (unless you want it for your wrists, or are happy to attach cuffs of your own to the rings). I'm mostly just happy to find some cuffs I can't wriggle out of! The bar is very short (especially for my 5'10" frame), but I knew this before purchase. It's worth noting that whilst the bar itself is 19.5", the willing victim can get their legs as close as 10.5" apart, as the rings are not rigidly attached to it, which means it doesn't do the best job in the world at spreading your legs open.
Even though the bar is quite short, these still make walking tricky, and do make 'access' somewhat easier for the Dominant partner. The bar makes a great handle for the Top to manoeuvre around the legs/arms, which is very fun (and convenient). Wearing them gives movement a pleasant awkwardness, and they're really fun to struggle against, even when just attached to yourself. These also make fantastic wrist restraints for the subs prone to acts of escape artistry, as even if they get the key, they probably won't be able to easily reach the lock for the other cuff (especially if you have them gagged, too)!
The combination of the soft leather against the skin, and the sound of the clanking metal is very erotic. They look darn nice, too; it's hard to beat silver and black, and the vertical lines for the cuffs to close are quite visually appealing as well as practical.
These aren't perfect, but they are a nice addition to one's collection, and I'm very happy to have them. I'm tempted to get a second set, as it's ever such fun being attached ankle to wrist with these, but I think I ought to just spring for one around three foot long - just a shame the BB range doesn't stock one!
- Fun, different, sturdy. Make very good anti-escape wrist cuffs.
- Very short bar, supplied cuffs too small for most people's ankles.
- Bottom line
- Nice introduction to spreaderbars, but you'll probably want to move to bigger things.

Solid build, tiny straps
Reviewed: 25 February 2010 by Wanchope2k, a Straight Single Male
When the description says "7.5 - 9 inch circumferences – also suitable for narrow ankles" it should really say "only suitable for narrow ankles"!
Make sure you measure your ankles/wrists before you buy this. For me, the straps were a very, very tight fit on the largest setting, and I'm only a 12-stone guy. If you or your partner are a little on the chubby side, this is probably too small for you.
I would also imagine that if you are a bit tall, the 19.5" bar is perhaps not quite long enough.
That aside, this is a solid product that should last many hours of struggling. It has good quality leather straps and solid metal rings.
- The solid build.
- The small straps. The bar is not so long for taller people.
- Bottom line
- Good for beginners and small people!

Fits most wrists more like it
Reviewed: 02 January 2014 by Ms.Bradley, a Straight Going Steady Female
I never thought I had big ankles, until this item arrived. I am a 10 stone girl, of very average build, and I could not get these on. Luckily I found another use for this item.
I used it for my wrists. I attached them on the smallest setting for a snug fit, and they felt comfortable to wear.
I found that when using this spreader bar it was the most fun attached to a collar around my neck and had the bar behind my neck. The bar then goes from shoulder to shoulder. Bit inspired by "the Secretary"... This opens me up for anything my OH wants to do and limits the surface of the bar that is against my skin, as the bar gets really cold.
I really put this bar to the test and after wriggling around and applying brute force, trying to get out of it, I managed to open one of the metal rings and get free. No problem really, as the metal ring was easy to slide back in place. It takes a lot of force to get out, but if you really wanted to, with some hard work and a lot of time on your hands, you can. All in all, I would say this is pretty much anti-escape.
My OH first comment about these was that we should get some proper padlocks as the ones that comes with this is your bog standard type.
It's a great item to get to started with spreader bars. Appealing to look at.
- Comfortable to wear, durable.
- Small cuffs, would only fit my wrists.
- Bottom line
- Nice introduction to spreader bars, but too small cuffs.
