Looking a little like something you'd find in a Scandinavian furniture store, the sleek curves of this prostate massager are more than just an eye-pleasing design. Each ridge and bulb is poised to deliver triple stimulation to your P-spot - and beyond.

Completely different from the other Aneros massagers in a number of ways, the Progasm Ice has a number of extraordinary orgasmic features. Firstly, the round, ball-shaped 'P-tab' gives a sensational perineum massage that complements your experience and intensifies your pleasure.

Secondly, there is an amazing second tab, known as the Kundalini tab or 'K-Tab'. This tab puts pressure on a known acupressure point located right below the sacrum or tailbone. The pressure from this new tab provides extra sensations up and down the spine in addition to the whole Aneros experience.

The Progasm's thick, contoured head and angled stem provides significant direct contact on the prostate for amazing hands-free release. Just slick on a hearty helping of water-based anal lubricant, and let its contours rock your socks off.

I bought this Aneros model after owning an MGX for a few years. Looking at the dimensions, I thought 'it's just a little bigger.' Well, that was a slight understatement!

First thoughts when you pick it up are just how beautiful the thing looks; each with its own unique bubble in the middle. The finish is wonderfully smooth and it feels very high quality, as you'd expect from Aneros.

As much as I love anal and prostate play, I don't do it that often and rarely with large toys so this thing feels huge when first inserted! However, once you get over the second ridge and it pulls itself in, the feeling of fullness and pressure against the prostate is divine.

Laying on my side and just relaxing to get used to the fullness had me twitching and throbbing before I'd even started! The thing I was really impressed with is the mobility despite its large size; the slightest contraction of the PC muscles sends the tip darting around inside you, producing exquisite feelings.

The perineum tab is very comfortable due to the ball shape, compared to the flat shape of the MGX which can create a bit too much pressure. It also seems to stay in position better (top tip: make sure your perinium is completely free of lube to stop it sliding to one side).

The kundalini tab is an interesting little touch. I didn't notice it at first but when you start to get to the big contractions it just nudges the right spot to send shivers up and down your spine.

Despite having a few 'super-Os' from my MGX, I didn't manage it the first time round with the Progasm. Then again, I wasn't expecting to as these things take time to get used to the new and unique sensations. After a few sessions though... Oh my word! Once the right sensations begin to build, they just don't stop! The aggressive profile seems to make the Progasm take on a mind of its own and the smooth surface means it slides with ease as it expertly probes your prostate, leaving you a shaking, panting wreck!

If you have experience with other Aneros toys and want something a bit bigger and more aggressive, I'd highly recommend the Progasm.

      Pros
The looks, the finish, the shape, the sensations.
      Cons
It's bigger than you expect, prolonged sessions take practice.
      Bottom line
Wonderfully exquisite but not for beginners.

Bought this after a lot of deliberation as I don't often pay this much for a toy but wow it is so worth it.

I've noticed a lot of these reviews are from straight men so I will try and put a queer perspective on this. For those like myself that are used to anal sex or anal play, this toy is really not that big and therefore really unintimidating. Even if it were bigger it wouldn't be a problem as the material is so smooth that even with just a small amount of anal lube it slips rights in very easily.

Before I bought the toy I did have some reservations about the fact it was rock hard plastic with no give at all but actually it feels incredibly comfortable once in, to the point where, if it wasn't making your ass feel amazing, you probably wouldn't notice it was there! Once in, it does give a bit of a full feeling but again, for those of us used to anal you would probably want to use something a touch bigger for that proper full feeling - but then that's not what this is for.

In terms of P-spot stimulation this is like nothing else I've tried (which so far has been dildos, plugs and er... real men with penises). As soon as it slips into place it gives me a jolt of pleasure as it hits the P-spot. And from there it just gets better! I've tried the hands-free method that Aneros recommend, which involves contracting rectal and anal muscles, and with patience and practice this can be really great. Using it this way solo I've had some pretty intense experiences. Results can vary with this depending on patience and how strong your muscles are. Don't expect immediate results with this method.

For those who don't have the patience to go for the hands-free method (like me 90% of the time), this works well as what can only be described as a laser-guided butt plug. All that's needed to fill you with waves of pleasure is some gentle wiggling of the handy tab on the end of the massager. The orgasms from this toy, using either method, are mind-blowing. I do not say that lightly and I think it is a very over-used term when it comes to sex toys but honestly it's the only way I can describe them. There really is nothing like it. Essentially, despite my initial reservations about the material and price, this exceeded every expectation and you really do get the quality you pay for!

Just a mild warning for straight people/anal beginners - Using it hands-free during sex or while masturbating is probably not the best for anal beginners as it can shoot out if your muscles aren't strong enough, especially at the point of orgasm but boy does it give you an amazing orgasm.

      10 out of 10
      Pros
Mind-blowing orgasms, easy insertion, multiple use (plug and massager).
      Cons
Really nothing. For what it is, it's basically perfect.
      Bottom line
Works great as a massager and plug and gives incredible orgasms.

I have been having fun exploring anal toys and prostate massage using various toys with mixed results.

I have read a lot about the Aneros. I was intrigued as you need a different mindset from most sex toys that provide instant gratification. You need to take your time and train the muscles to get the desired results.

I am a natural skeptic but decided to try the Aneros, and I'm glad I did. There is a lot of information on the internet about this toy and I advise reading it before you start.

I have played with lots of anal toys, so decided to try the Progasm Ice due to it's larger size.

The packaging on the Progasm Ice is very good, it has an outer box with information about the toy, then an inner box which is great for storage. Progasm Ice itself look great. I chose the clear version and it looks really good with the air bubbles in the plastic. I will admit at this point a nagging part of my brain did say I paid a lot for a clear bit of plastic, but this feeling soon vanished once I tried it.

I have read online that the K and P tabs can put too much pressure on when you are starting out. This was never a problem I encountered, from first use they applied a firm but comfortable pressure that feels great.

I found some time for myself, allowing an hour for play. Insertion was easy plenty of lube. It is quite big, but the rigid plastic makes it slide in reasonably easily. The first session felt good, no huge orgasmic feeling, but I wasn't expecting those on the first try.

I have had many sessions since and the feeling gets stronger and stronger. I now can achieve the orgasmic feeling but really think I have a long way to go unlocking the potential that is in this toy.

I use this toy during sex with my wife and the extra sensation that the Progasm Ice give make for a really intense experience.

If you are looking for a quick fix sex toy, you may be disappointed. If you invest time in this toy and yourself, you won't regret it.
