    1. Soft But Sturdy

Reviewed: 23 April 2016 by Student_101, a Straight Going Steady Male

Does exactly what it's supposed to, knots are solid and secure but do not tighten too much, so untying them is relatively easy after play.

Once cut the ends are easily tidied up with thread or tape, unlike some ropes where fraying is an issue.

Doesn't leave any skin irritation after play, just a slight imprint of where the rope has been.

Used several times with my OH and it's been excellent every time!

    1. Surprisingly comfortable

Reviewed: 17 March 2016 by BlueJeans94, a Straight Engaged Male

The rope is long enough to create any bondage knots you need to, and is surprisingly comfortable and doesn't rub on the skin or cause irritation like you would expect rope to.

I'm extremely pleased with this product, me and my fiancée have used it on each other a few times in a few different positions and have never broken free, the knots have never come undone and it's not rough on your skin!

      Highly recommended.

    1. So you wanna get knotty?

Reviewed: 17 March 2016 by Sex Squid

Is there anything more versatile in the bedroom than a couple of lengths of rope; no, really? Whether it's simply for binding wrists and ankles, or for looping it beneath the bed to restrain your partner; or for more advanced knotwork and bondage ties; the only limit is your imagination.

Maybe you've tried a pair of handcuffs and want to take restraining your partner to the next stage, or maybe you're a seasoned kinkster. Either way you can't go wrong with this Shibari rope from Bondage Boutique.

As with every product I've tried from BB, this rope is of a really high quality. It's made of woven cotton and therefore it's lovely and soft. Even struggling against the most unrelenting bonds, you're not going to experience any rope-burn. And whilst it's soft, it certainly doesn't lack strength; you needn't worry about wear and tear. You'd be hard pushed to make it fray, even if regular use involves pulling against a right-angled bedframe.

What about the length? Well that all depends on how you intend to use it. 10 metres certainly sounds like a lot, and when you first uncoil it, it will seem like a lot too. It's enough for a good few knots but if you plan to make your own under-bed restraint system (and you can easily do so for less than the cost of a dedicated 'kit') I'd recommend getting two of these. Personally I have two permanently looped around the slats under my bed; one across the top for the wrists and the other near the foot of the bed for the ankles. If you're relatively new to bondage it pays to have a look online for some simple tips.

The soft feel of this rope, combined with the right sort of knots, actually negates the need for any wrist and ankle cuffs. Have a quick search for "zip snare knot" on a certain popular video site and you'll find a 2 minute step-by-step on how to fashion some sliding knots. If you're planning to keep things simple it could be all you ever need. It's also the perfect knot if your partner wants a quick release (no pun intended!). A bit of prep goes a long way; nothing quite kills the mood after offering to tie your OH than to then spend half an hour fiddling with knots under the bed, so plan and prepare (I'd assume you're not going to throw loops of rope around your partner without having discussed it together first anyway!). And once in place, there it stays, hidden, until needed.

Which brings me back to the versatility again: if you want to try something different, then you're not limited on how to use it. I can't recommend this rope enough. 20 metres should be enough for most people; and even if you're planning some intricate Shibari then you'll be happy to know that this rope also seems to feature quite regularly in Lovehoney's 3 for £15 deal, which gives you a fantastic 50% saving!

    2. Overall Rating:
      10 out of 10 stars
      Pros
Perfect! The first rope I ever bought, and only rope I'll need.
      Cons
      Nothing.
      Bottom line
For the bondage enthusiast, it's the most versatile thing you can have in any bedroom!
