WandA's review of TENGA Egg Clicker
Used better, used worse
Reviewed: 14 September 2010 by WandA, a Straight Engaged Male
I received this as a little stocking filler at Christmas from my fabulous OH. I have a few male toys so it is nice to experience a bit of a change however I do think these things are more of a pleasurable novelty than a real masturbator. They do feel good and certainly add an extra dimension to masturbation but I didn't notice any stand out features.
Although not a huge improvement on masturbation, these may be useful little things for some people. As mentioned they make great presents and I know of a few people who have bought them for friends and partners as an introduction to male sex toys. They are really non-threatening and are more likely to intrigue than arouse or scare off! There is also no strong off-putting smells from the egg.
They come in a white plastic 'shell' that just pops open and the actual egg is a cloudy white colour with a small sachet of lube held in a tube inserted in the egg. I really like the packaging, and like the Tenga Fliphole, it's a little bit funky.
Now for the actual lowdown on the use. As previously mentioned it's different. My first use with it was actually rather rubbish and felt a bit 'scrapey' on my glans, perhaps I didn't use enough lube or I was particularly sensitive that day because on the second use it was much improved after I experimented with techniques.
I think what also reduced my pleasure the first time was just how careful I was with it, these things are really soft and not very durable, I believe mine will break on the next use as some damage is already visible. This is to be expected from what is a single use product but only getting 2/3 uses makes it rather poor value.
During the second use I found this product feels excellent on the tip, the small nodules massage the frenulum and provide a pleasurable stroking sensation on the sensitive part of the foreskin just under the tip. To produce a rather unique sensation I found rotating it produced just the right amount of friction to work really well. One thing I missed when using it was the shaft stimulation and it cannot be pulled down that far as it will break.
As for the logistics of the product... Well it's really easy to clean and just rinses out although after use it left me quite sticky as lube trickled down. I don't recall any off putting noises during use either.
It also makes a rather rubbish kippah despite my attempts to prove otherwise.
- Interesting idea. Little bit different. Got the job done. Funky.
- Lack of shaft action. Poor value.
- Bottom line
- Style over substance.
