When I first saw the Philips Massagers, it was some time last year. They were selling them in a high street shop for £150 a pop! Although they looked fantastic, I couldn't justify that kind of money on them.

When I saw the Philips Warm Vibrating Intimate Massager at Lovehoney for just half the price, I knew I had to have it! Not only did it appeal to me because of the bargain price, but it was free shipping and arrived on my door step the very next day - thanks Lovehoney!

The packaging is quite big and cumbersome, especially considering the size of the stuff that is held insid. Although the packaging was gorgeous, I did end up throwing most of it away as there was just way too much.

I charged the Philips Massager for 24 hours and came home from work ready to play! I first tried it with the warming function. By pressing one button on the base the massager warmed up and stayed warm for a good 10 minutes, which made it feel great. Cold plastic against skin is never good so this is a really unique and well thought out feature.

Stroking it over my tired calf muscles and achey knees, it felt great but I wanted a little more so turned the vibrations on!

Unbelievably easy to use, the Philips Massager has three buttons - one to change the vibration function and two to turn it up or down. I started off with the single speed of vibration, turning it up and down to find the one that felt best. I really enjoyed the softest, slowest speeds for massage as they really soothed my body. I've honestly never felt anything so relaxing - and I've dated a masseuse!

Needless to say, the vibrations soon found their way elsewhere! Stroking it over my erogenous zones felt fantastic and it really teased me into a frenzy! I loved the three different pulses against my clitoris and it quickly brought me to the most amazing, knee-buckling, powerful orgasm ever!

After I'd calmed down, I went and had a bath... and took the massager with me! As it's waterproof, it was really great to use it under the water and provided me with yet another orgasm but this time using the highest vibrational setting - oh my goodness! It's comparable to the brilliant Tracey Cox Supersex Power Wand on the highest setting - and that's truly powerful!

Although I didn't want to share my new purchase with anyone else, my gadget-loving boyfriend soon got hold of it! After applying a little water-based lubricant I started running the curve of the massager up and down his shaft. The Philips Warm Vibrating Intimate Massager does just what it says on the box - gets you both in the mood.

Its attractive packaging makes it intriguing and once you've opened it the massagar looks great. It is small and compact so would be easy to take on your holidays and with the useful travel lock there won't be any embarrasing buzzing in your suitcase at the airport.

After an initial 24 hour charge it's ready to use. The charger is a great idea -no hunting round for batteries, its always at the ready and doesn't look 'dodgy' left out in the bedroom. It's also very quiet and discrete, even when on the highest setting.

The warming function is a great idea and is what attracted me to this item, but maybe I was expecting too much here. It takes the chill off but that's really all it does. Also, I found it takes a while to find the best way to hold it and as it's small and round it can get a bit like trying to hold a bar of soap once you've lubed up! All adds to the fun though...
