These restraints arrived from Lovehoney super quick as always! They come in a neat box, along with the included blindfold mask. Each tie and the mask are sealed in plastic bags as well.

The blindfold, described as included free on the box, is similar to one you might get on an aeroplane. The silk ties are obviously the main event here. The two ties are around a meter long each, black of course, and made of a synthetic silk material. The edges are finished with threading so they don't fray.

The ties feel slinky and smooth and are nice against the skin. The great thing about these ties is the width of the material, about 15cm across. This means that if tied flat and not twisted, even if tight they do not hurt or restrict blood flow.

As far as I can tell, they are strong. Not tested to destruction yet, but I don't imagine one could rip them during normal play.

As for using them, well we did have great fun with a forage into bondage. The ties are perfect for making handcuffs, and in fact I think they are better when used as a blindfold than the included eyemask. (Two layers needed for full blindness, though.) Binding the ankles together is also easily doable. The ties are easy to knot, hold fast and do not stretch - so done properly there's no escape for your victim!

The only real downside to them is the length. As only two are included, you could tie arms apart, or legs maybe, but they are best suited to making handcuffs or ankle cuffs. There is only so much you can do with tied wrists. And with ankles, especially, you have much less choice of position. The ties aren't really long enough to tie feet apart to the bed frame for ease of access to intimate areas. If you already have some bondage kit like a doorframe set or bed set, these could certainly add to the mix, though.

If you're starting out with bondage, these make a great start. They're not at all intimidating like some of the bondage kits out there. If you enjoy seeing your partner wriggling at your mercy, these are spot on!
