Touche Silicone Vibrator and Intimate Shaver

I have had this ‘toy’ for a few days now and have tried it out quite a few times in hope that it may grow on me but sadly it hasn’t.

When womaniser arrived the packaging was impressive, all black, very sleek and it was secured in place between the plastic. It doesn’t shout Sex Toy which is always a nice bonus and I think anyone that seen it wouldn’t know it was a vibrator. It comes with an instruction booklet to let you know how it works and where the batteries go etc. On the back of the packaging it tells you about the womaniser and its purpose; to discreetly hide your intimate shaved inside a sleek and smooth vibrator.

When I took the womaniser out of its packaging it came with a battery for the shaver and the bullet already housed its small two batteries. It also came with a small key like device which can be inserted down the side of the bullet so it can be pulled out to replace the batteries. The key came in its own small pocket packaging, which seemed all very classy. On inspection of the vibrator it is made from smooth pink silicone. It feels great and I liked both the size and the shape. It was all a bit daunting though, I removed the seal that slides down from the centre part of the vibrator that covers the join to hold both parts together and to protect the inside from water.

When you take apart both pieces of the vibrator, the small shaving device is hidden inside. This is easily removed as a whole where the battery can be easily fitted and then clicked back into place. There is then a small sliding button to turn the shaver on which I discovered is very noisy! I tested the razor several times on short hair but was far from impressed. The first time the shaver head fell apart, catching my hair = very painful!! The second attempted and it was still catching my hair and not giving a very good close shave…I tried it again but decided to give up and it was in no way easy or comfortable. The head of the shaver is small and short and being attached to the vibrator made it hard to manoeuvre around my curves. It was in no way ideal.

I then tried the bullet part of the vibrator after putting both half’s back together and sealing it with the small band that covers the join. The bullet is small and holds two small batteries. The quality of the bullet is cheap and the plastic is not sturdy or high grade. The batteries are very difficult to remove and on trying to do so my bullet fell apart and took some time to clip back together. It was all very fiddly! When the bullet is inside the vibrator (a small channel in the head of the vibrator) it doesn’t fit snugly and sticks out ever so slightly. On insertion it still sticks out...not very comfortable and it isn’t as powerful as I would have hoped. When it came to moving the vibrator in or out it was hopeless! The seal doesn’t hold both parts of the toy together and it broke apart meaning the shaver was exposed in my hand. This is not very safe or practical. I tried to remove the shaver and use it without but it still fell apart as it had no inner core strength to hold the whole toy together. After a few attempts I gave up as the moment had passed and I was worried I might cut my hand. The seal also is quite rigid and not comfortable to insert and the small gaps can easily trap your come which isn’t great to clean afterwards.

Overall, the idea of this toy is clever but the design has some major faults and has clearly not been tested properly. The design is smooth sleek and it looks appealing but when it comes to using it, it’s disappointing. For the cost of the product, I would have through the bullet would have been better quality and that the use of the vibrator would have been thought of more clearly.
