My first lube
Reviewed: 19 August 2009 by Lunar Lunacy, a Bisexual Going Steady Female
I was looking for lube I could buy locally, so I went into Asda and skulked around the aisles, saw this, grabbed it and ran to self-checkout.
Durex Play Very Cherry lube smells like cherry, but kind of like real cherries, or cherry drops.
Tasting it made my stomach feel queasy and I didn't like the cherry flavour at all. As I won't be using this for oral, that wasn't a problem for me, but that's supposed to be its purpose. Some people will like it, but it wasn't to my taste.
The bottle was cute and I was able to rip off the label for discretion purposes. The pump was also handy.
This lube feels a little thin, but it doesn't dry out that quickly and at first felt a little sticky, but I realised that it was just wet and I wasn't used to the feeling. (I used a bit too much at first.) It feels quite silky and pleasant.
I will probably buy Durex Play Feel in the future as I prefer thicker lube and Durex is the only brand I can find locally.
- The silky feeling, the cherry smell, the pump
- The taste, the viscosity
- Bottom line
- As a first foray into lube it wasn't too bad
