Wild Designs Overbust Satin Corset

After hankering after a corset for a long time, I finally decided to take the plunge and purchase the Wild Designs Overbust Corset.

I was slightly hesitant about buying this on two counts. Firstly, I am one of those fortunate ladies who is extremely well-endowed in the chest department (a busty 34G), but only a size 14 over the rest of me, and I'd already had to return another corset that didn't fit at all, no way, no how! Secondly, I couldn't believe that this corset would be up to much given the price-tag. Well, I'm glad to report I was terribly wrong on both counts.

The corset arrived in LoveHoney's usual discreet packaging, and was simply wrapped in a clear cellophane bag. Even lying in the bag, this corset looked fabulous, and I couldn't wait to get it on my body, although at this point I was trying hard to reign in my enthusiasm as I was still sure it wasn't going to fit.

On taking it out the bag, I was immediately impressed by the design and quality of this corset. The satin fabric feels gorgeous and thick, with really good stitching. The bones are all metal, and the front busk is metal too. The corset comes with detachable suspenders, and non-detachable satin ribbon shoulder ties, and a gold ribbon laces up the back.

I had to get some help with the fitting of this corset, as I'd never really worn one before, but it was worth the effort. It laces up beautifully, and really does pull in all the right bits, and push up all the right bits too! I simply couldn't believe the shape of my body once this corset was on and properly adjusted! Wow, not only did it do my lovely boobs justice, but it gave me a waist where previously non had existed - yippee!

I wasn't too sure about the ruffle details around the bust and bottom of this corset while it was in the packet, echoes of "Little Bo Peep" kept coming to mind, but when you actually get it on, those shepherdess ruffles really come into their own, drawing the eye to the cleavage, and adding an extra wee bit of coverage to your tummy/waist area. The corset is just the right length on me to cover up and smooth out my tummy, and the cut at the front leads the eye downwards beautifully.

When I was ready, I unveiled it to my Fiance, and for the first time in a long time rendered him completely and utterly speechless. After he had finally managed to pick his jaw up off the floor, and wipe away the drool, he managed to give me some single-syllable responses, such as "wow", "Oh my god" and "phew", so I'm guessing he liked it! He insisted on getting the camera out and snapping some shots, but after that, this corset was responsible for one of the best sex sessions we'd had in ages, and that truly is saying something.

This corset is one of the single best purchases I've made from LoveHoney, and I would humbly suggest that every lady out there should immediately invest in one of these - it really is that good!
