Black Lace Quickies 8 - Erotic Short Stories by Women

I have been pushing the boat out recently and decided to try some erotic fiction. I've read the Fifty Shades trilogy but these didn't hit it for me. I'd seen the Black Lace Quickies books and they were affordable and small - easy to hide for people who are more concious about their reading choices. I like to keep this in with my sex toys if I don't want to use my imagination or porn to get myself off.

The best thing about these books is that it is possible to hold the book in one hand and have the other hand nestled on your clitoris. There are six stories, all with a dom and sub, although this may not be obvious at first for some. Groping on a train, playing with silk, quickies in between radio station breaks - there is something for everyone in here.

One of them didn't really appeal to me but I suppose that will happen for everyone - not everything in this book will float one person's boat. The writing takes different angles in each story and there are different themes - lace, mystery, silk, a light whipping, stockings, foot play - unfortunately none of the stories had any homosexual relationships, it was all strictly straight. I will be looking for another book for some girl-on-girl play.

The writing is average and the descriptions aren't drawn out for so long that you're tearing your hair out - the book helps your imagination in that you can decide what the woman looks like as she gets ready to go out, you can decide whether or not the stockings have hold-ups or not.

It's a great little book to fuel your imagination as you can fill in how the settings look and little details that can make it personal for you. Sometimes, however, I will start to get into a story and then I will have finished it because they are so short. Then again, these are called Black Lace Quickies and you get what you pay for.

Oh - and if you're looking for an explicit read, this isn't it. The scenes are quite non-explicit for erotic stories.

Overall, a great read for the start of masturbation, but I don't think the words alone will allow anyone to orgasm. Best have a small vibe or your fingers ready!

Always good for a bathtime read.

I love the Black Lace Quickies because they are the perfect length for enjoying in the bath or one quick one when you just want a fantasy to work with right before bed.

The biggest benefit, of course, is that you can find an author you like without having to commit to an entire novel--far better to decide against a writer after a short story than it is to be knee-deep in an expensive novel when you realise how much it isn't working for you.

Usually each of the Quickies has a sort of overall theme, and this one seems to be all about teasing and sexual play in restricted or slightly unusual situations. A purveyor of silks, meeting in a dressing room, furtive groping on a train...all stories in this volume. As usual, there are one or two that probably won't work for everyone, but there is more than enough here to guarantee that there will be something that floats your boat. It did mine.

Quick but sexy

At a couple of pages long these short stories are the perfect length for reading just before bed, or whenever you have a spare 10 or 15 minutes. The stories are all of a very high quality and all have thrilling and detailed plots.

If you are wanting something very explicit, this book will not be for you. It wasn't what I originally expected it to be but the stories are incredibly sexy and erotic, as well as being very well written.

For the price it is, the book is good value for money.
