Packaging:

The Packaging of the Form 6 is full of helpful information and illustrations. The sturdy and quite elegant looking packaging really matches the beautiful but functional design of the toy and lists the massagers many functions and features.

Inside the outer packaging the Form 6 sits in a slide out plastic mould and inside this again the Form 6 actually arrives already in its charging station which is a simple but thick and sturdy black plastic box with the name JimmyJane on its top. This ‘charging station’ is great for long term storage of the toy too as its power lead attaches to the outside of the box and can be disconnected when you are just storing the toy inside it.

First Impression:

The Jimmyjane FORM 6 is a Luxury, Waterproof and Rechargable vibrator suitable for clitoral and G-spot stimulation. While first looking at the unusual design of the Form 6 I assumed from its shape that it was intended only for clitoral simulation but having since done some research I was surprised to find that waht I thought has a soft and ergonomic silicone covered handle is actually an insertable part of the massager.

The JimmyJane FORM 6 is basically a double ended vibrator; with one end being suited to both external or clitoral stimulation and G-spot stimulation and the other end (which I at first mistook for a handle) being a more filling insertable portion of the toy.

As you would expect from a toy of this quality, the Silicone used is incredibly soft and smooth, velvety, and like the design of the toy, it screams of pure luxury.

Available in pink or slate, the slate is a beautiful charcoal like shade of grey that almost appears black at times and gives the product a sophisticated look.

Charging:

The Form 6 features a high capacity Lithium-Ion battery and cordless charging. You simply place the vibrator inside its provided charging dock with the metal band of the toy touching the right part of the dock (this happens naturally thanks to the perfectly moulded shape of the dock) The Form 6’s lights will illuminate in a sequence once it begins to charge and it will stay lit up during charging. Lifting it from the dock/base will stop it charging. As mentioned in the included instruction manual it is impossible to overcharge the battery.

Handily the power cord attaches to the back of the Dock and can be removed when just using the dock as a storage case.

In Use/Experience...

Used Clitorally:

My first time using the Form 6 I was still unaware of its multi-functionality and used it purely as a clitoral toy. Being a growing fan of insertable toys I was excited by the obvious quality of the Form 6 but underestimated just how much I could enjoy a clitoral vibe. The shape of the smaller end of the Form 6 is curved and shaped in such a way that it nestles into the clit easily and provides quite direct stimulation.

Featuring not one but two motors, the powerful vibrations emitted from the Form 6 are deep and rumbly. Because there is a motor in each end of the toy this does mean the end you are using as a handle also vibrates powerfully in your hand. While using the smaller end of the massager as a clitoral vibe I have noticed that the vibration in the bigger portion the toy tend to be quite a bit stronger than them from what I call the ‘clitoral ends’ motor.

Used on G-spot:

While at first I felt it strange to insert the smaller end of the toy because of its cold steel band, the small end of the toy is designed well to provide pressure on the G-spot. Because the steel band is so sudden and cold I found it more pleasant to use purely for pressure and a slight rubbing of the G-spot rather than thrusting. I did find myself wishing that the level of vibration from this end of the toy was as strong as the larger end though. While it provides decent clitoral vibes, internally these vibrations can feel somewhat subdued. The shape of the curve/design itself works quite well for applying pressure to the spot.

Larger Insertable End:

The buttons on the toy are un-raised as they are on a portion of the toy which is intended to be suitable for insertion so pressing these small buttons does take some effort; the positive to this is that they are very hard to accidently press in the heat of the moment.

Using the larger end of the toy which is suited for more filling penetration, the Form 6 requires a generous amount of lube before insertion. As with alot of velvety soft silicone toys there is a strong feeling of ‘drag’ to the material. Once adequately lubed up (I recommend using a water based lubricant) the rounded end of the Form 6 feels surprisingly generous and filling. The end of the toy already starts out at a generous girth for a vibrator like this and then thickens slightly. The shape of the shaft and the fact that the girth increases more towards the front wall of the vagina means that this end of the toy also provides some G-spot stimulation though it is quite different than the more direct stimulation from the toys smaller end.

This light G-spot stimulation is more of a tease, sliding past the G-spot but not applying any pressure like the smaller end does so well. Overall I found the shape of the larger end nicely thick and particularly filling when compared to other luxury vibes I own. This end is also the more powerful end when it comes to the toys vibrations and its vibrations don’t feel lost internally. The deeper rumbly vibrations instantly reminded of one of my long time favourites which also boasts two motors, the Lelo Iris.

Material and care:

Made of Hypo-allergenic, Latex free, Non-porous and Phthalates free silicone, the Form 6 is skin safe and easily cleaned with warm water and a mild soap. Being so waterproof, even the steel ‘collar’ can be properly cleaned.

The silicone material of the Form 6 has a velvety soft finish which means it requires lubricant. It is safe to use with water-based lubricants and I always find that I need a generous drop of lube for insertion as it has that 'drag' that you often get with silicone toys.

In Summary:

Overall the Form 6’s luxury feel, strong build, two motors and deeper rumbly vibrations have won me over. While the smaller end has weaker vibrations it does provide direct clitoral and G-spot stimulation while the larger end boasts girth and stronger vibrations.

The idea behind the Jimmyjane FORM 6 is great. A rechargeable massager that has twin motors and you can use all parts of the toy for pleasure. Claiming to be quiet and bath friendly, I put the Jimmyjane FORM 6 to test.

The Jimmyjane FORM 6 comes in a sleek black case with JIMMYJANE on the top of the box. This case I found out wasn't just a storage case but the charging unit too. The wire attaches underneath but can be removed if not in charge. The case is very sleek in design and I have had mine sitting on my bedside drawer without looking out of place. In the product description it says that it comes with a UK power converter, mine didn't but I was sent mine as a review product. I would have been rather annoyed if I had bought a high end toy that didn't come with a converter. Also with the FORM 6 you get an instruction manual that tells you how to charge the vibrator, how to use the different functions and how to care for it too. I found this invaluable.

It suggests that you charge your Jimmyjane for 8 hours on its first charge. There is a metal collar about a 1/3 of the way down the toy, this connects to 2 metal pins on the base and this is how the toy charges. 2 lights will remain illuminated while the vibrator is charging. Normal charging takes about 4 hours.

Made from high grade silicone, the Jimmyjane FORM 6 has a velvety smooth feeling to it and a sleek blue-black colour. I didn't think when drying the toy that I shouldn't use my fluffy towel to dry it. Every little bit of fluff stuck to it and I had to wash it again.

After letting it charge all day, I was excited to see what this toy was really like. I had some difficulty trying to turn the FORM 6 on. The buttons are seamless so you can insert either end. You need to hold down the buttons for 2-3 seconds to turn each motor on. I found it really hard to turn on. Frustration! Each motor has 6 functions and the middle button selects the vibration mode so you have a whole load of different vibration combinations to choose from. Something for everyone was my first thought but I think it is quite confusing trying to remember what combinations you like. Maybe too much choice. The one good thing about the settings is that when you turn it off, it turns back on at the same setting but I prefer to start off with slower vibrations. Trying to change the settings during use you have to stop what you are doing to change the settings as it takes both hands to operate it.

The FORM 6 is quite a weighty toy but not too overly heavy. It feels very ergonomic and contours to different parts of your body well. Using some water based lube I thought I would test out the G-pot end first. I feel that personally not all G-pot toys actually hit the spot with me but I was impressed with how easy I found my G-pot with the FORM 6. Finally something good. The heavier, thicker end is quite girthy, combined with the weight of the toy, I knew I would feel rather full. Because if the girth, I had to wait until I was very aroused before I could attempt it. I lubed up some more but I had to stop to clean the G-spot side as it was very slippery from using that end internally. Eventually I was able to use the heavier end internally and it made me feel really full. I wouldn't be able to use this end unless I was very aroused.

The FORM 6 claims to be quiet and with being a high end toy, I expected no less. Yet again I was disappointed. It wasn't as quiet as I had hoped but it wasn't as loud as something like a Rabbit or a Wand. Putting the TV or some music on you will be able to drown out the noise.

The strength of the vibrations, I expected the FORM 6 to be really powerful. It wasn't as powerful as I was hoping but it was still reasonably powerful. There are lots of different combinations but I find it can be quite confusing. I want to be able to just enjoy myself and get lost in the moment, not have to think about what setting I want next. I have accidentally turned it off in the middle of play too. Thinking I could turn it up once more to increase the power but actually turned it off but when I actually want to turn it off I found it difficult.

I don't often take toys into the bath or shower but for testing sake I took the FORM 6 into the shower with me but I found the same problems, changing the settings was the biggest one. Using the G-spot end was preferred as I found the other end impossible to insert without lube. My Jimmyjane survived the shower.

I have played with and used the FORM 6 quite a few times and the battery is holding strong. To check the level of the battery all you do is place it on the charger for a few seconds then lift it off and how ever many lights are lit, depicts the level of the battery. One = low charge, two = medium charge and three = high charge.

With the FORM 6 being waterproof it is super easy to clean. Some mild soap and hot water or some sex toy cleaner and dry it off with a (non) fluffy towel and just place it in the charger unit to keep it clean and dust free till the next time you want to use it.

My over all thoughts on the Jimmyjane FORM 6. It really didn't come up to the high expectations I had. It could have been a lot quieter, more powerful and easier to use.

The things I do like are the sleek design, the colour, the storage case/charger unit. It has a safety function that means it can't be turned on during transit by accident but then I found it hard to turn on... period! So maybe not such a great point.

Only good thing about this product is the packaging

We don’t usually comment on product packaging but the packaging of this product is impeccable. With a thick plastic back case emblazoned with a subtle Jimmyjane logo, it has a lift off lid that uncovers the sex toy resting perfectly on a toy stand base. This case is not only something you keep it safe in however as the base also charges the sex toy via 2 pins that rest on the sex toy when on its base.

Taking the FORM 6 off of the base the weight of the sex toy was the first thing to come to mind. Weighs in at quite a hefty 202 grams, which is quite a lot for a product this size. The weight isn’t too much however and it makes the toy feel probably more robust than it actually is.

The FORM 6 is extremely stylish with a simple black silicone finish with a chrome Jimmyjane branded banding three-quarters of the way up the vibrator. The chrome banding is not just for show as this is the thing that rests on the pins for recharging. The banding is not flush to the rest of the sex toy as in parts it’s inset from the rest of the product by quite a margin. The inset is enough for me to feel it enough to actually cause irritation during use when using that end.

The silicone of this product is very soft with only a slight seam along the sides of the sex toy. Unlike the banding however the seam thankfully isn’t noticeable during use. The FORM 6 is completely rigid with no flexibility whatsoever, making it more useful for G-spot stimulation. The opposite end is quite bulbous with only a slight taper, making it not really suitable for slim sex toy enthusiasts.

I’ll go right out and say it... This sex toy is an absolute nightmare to control. Of all the sex toys we own the Jimmyjane FORM 6 is the worst by far, beating the otherwise excellent Cobra Libre. Below are the reasons why I hate controlling this sex toy…

1: The buttons on the vibrator are difficult to locate especially during use.

2: The controls are only really usable when using the G-spot end, depending on how deep your G-spot is, as the controls are too far up when using the bulbous end.

3: The amount of force you need to use on the buttons is astronomical. I have literally gotten finger pain and indented marks on my fingers from using this sex toy.

Controlling a sex toy should be easy enough not to even think about it. Unfortunately the FORM 6 is extremely frustrating and actually painful to control. I didn’t think any toy would beat the old coveted nightmare controller of the Cobra Libre but the FORM 6 smashes it into oblivion.

After the difficulty of turning this sex toy on another thing hit me which unfortunately wasn’t an orgasm. This sex toy is loud, not because it’s immensely powerful (shame) however as the highest vibration mode is below average for a rechargeable sex toy. For the amount the Jimmyjane costs I wanted… no I expected more.

The G-spot end of the sex toy is unusable for me due to the inset chrome banding. It becomes irritating to basically painful even after a short amount of use. It’s such a shame about this as the angle seems just about right on this vibrator for G-spot stimulation.

After trying out this product I have found out that Jimmyjane has released the FORM 6 G3, which is probably a better bet than this. The G3 touts easier controls and continuous surfaces which are my main frustrations with the original so once again I’m interested in a Jimmyjane toy, but I’m not rushing out to buy one after this experience though!
