Not a toy
Reviewed: 22 Sep 2012 by modnar, a Single Straight Male
We decided to get this just to experiment really. The girlfriend thought that I was far too horny, and I should only be horny when she is.
So, the design is really good. Getting it on is sometimes a little tricky if you can't control yourself. Once it's on, it’s on. We did various "games" with this. I'd have to do certain things to earn the right to be released, or maybe she would be at that time of month and tell me that if she can't enjoy herself, neither can I. I found it quite fun/interesting and a bit of a learning curve. It gets no use now because she's kind of had enough of it so it stays away until who knows when.
MAKE SURE... you are trimmed or shaven. Long hairs will make the process hard. Trapped hairs don’t feel great either.
Anyway, back onto the actual product. You have to find the right combination of sizes which will fit nicely, and keep your old man in place. This can be quite tricky and time consuming but it's all worth it. Finding the right parts will help when you’re sleeping and doing various things. Because we spent a while finding the right combination, I was never once able to really slip out of this device. If I tried, she would know. If you’re sitting in this correct, going to the toilet is no problem.
There are quite a few good suggestions on how to get this fitted, so I won't repeat what others have said.

- Pros
- Keeps me in my place.
- Cons
- Not being released.
- Bottom line
- Listen to the boss.

Delicious snug, arousing constriction
Reviewed: 03 Sep 2012 by Jonnyboy, a Married Straight Male
WARNING: Please don’t buy this (or any) chastity device with the expectation that it is required within your relationship in order to maintain trust and fidelity. If you’re looking for that, you probably need to re-evaluate your relationship.
This is a consensual play thing - something that allows you to share your sexual partnership outside of the bedroom and throughout the day. This is something that ensures that a willing wearer relinquishes control to another party.
• Buy one of these for you to wear yourself, if you wish to relinquish control to another. But do not insist that your partner holds the key.
• Buy one of these for your partner to wear if you wish to add spice, fun and control. But do not insist that they wear it.
From my/a wearer’s perspective, I cannot think of much which is sexier than offering a key to your lover (to be known as the KEYHOLDER) with the declaration "With this key I will no longer be able to have any form of personal sexual gratification without your consent. With this key it’s all about you and what you want."
When someone is wearing this device they can feel its presence all the time - especially when aroused. When someone is wearing this device they are limited to GIVING pleasure.
What does the CB6000 look like (off and on)?
The CB6000 is an acrylic ball trap device which encases the penis. Ball trap sounds painful, but in fact is basically a cock and ball ring with attached cage. When fitted the penis can be see through the clear plastic and the balls are pushed forward underneath the cage.
When fitted properly it’s very comfortable indeed.
When aroused, the blood in the penis has nowhere to go. It swells and gets tight in the cage, but not painfully - I would describe the feeling as a [deliciously] intense constricted erection.
Under tight fitting clothes it might have a bit of a small bulge, but I don’t think anyone would ever notice it unless they knew you were wearing it.
What about lust, fun and scenarios of use?.
When wearing this device you know about it. If you’re wearing this device whilst aroused you REALLY know about it. When my partner nods and looks at my nether regions with the comment “How do you feel” – you know what she REALLY means...
With this device the key holder can insist on as much pleasure for them as they like, and as little for the wearer. This is called teasing. This might some cruel – but remember the thrill, the anticipation and the excitement whilst waiting for a birthday present – imaging the thrill of being told "If you’re a good boy I might release you", or "just one more week to wait…" or "Thank you, I enjoyed that … But now I’m just so tired…."
So simply put this ensures that the wearer gives as much foreplay as the keyholder insists upon before full intercourse is initiated - assuming she has the key to hand.
What about the package?
A nice box, but there is barely any documentation about how to use or fit the device. I could have done with a couple of more graphic images when I first tried to fit device.
The device also comes with a number of uniquely labelled/use once security tags. So if the keyholder was to go away for a few days – the wearer could remain “locked” – however in the event of an emergency a simple pair of scissors could be used – however the keyholder would certainly know on their return.
Inside the box is also a discrete black canvas bag with a zip to store the device. You would never know what it contains without opening it.
What about the fitting?
The CB6000 and CB6000s is known as a ball trap device. There is a choice of five different sized rings which sit behind the scrotum and a choice of four different sized spacers between the ring and the cage. Although this might sound complicated, it’s really very simple. Security and comfort is reliant upon the correct chosen sizes.
It’s unlikely that you’ll be able to get the ideal fitting the first time, however remember “tight is good”, “painfully tight is bad”! Start with a ring which is tight but comfortable and after a few trial runs (a few hours / a day / a night) try to see if you could perhaps fit into a smaller ring. Similarly start with a medium spacer and reduce to a smaller one.
I’ve read that some people have a very tight scrotum and I’ve read that a little bit of “ball stretching” can help.
If you’re a well-endowed, it could be tricky to put your package in the cage – however there is a recommended sock method… Then put the foot end of the nylon stocking in the cage with the toe protruding from the hole in the end. Then put your “package” in the stocking and slowly pull on the stocking which will also pull your package into the cage. Once you’re fully in the cage, the stocking should pull out of the end leaving you all nicely tight and secure.
If you’re not quite so well-endowed you could alternatively try the CB6000's package which is ever so slightly shorter and far more snug.
What about security?
Don’t buy this for 100% enforcement. A correctly fitted device is tight, comfortable and very secure, however I could get a small saw and cut the plastic locking pin in 30 seconds.
Similarly in a nice soapy shower I could probably “pull out” of the cage – but being able to enter the cage again would be next to impossible.
What about cleanliness (and having a wee!)?
Cleanliness is very important. However a good quality shower with a firm nozzle can often get into the nooks and crannies (and also makes a frustrating and arousing experience). Sometimes a q-tip or cotton bud can be helpful to clean out the odd bit of excess moisture. Alternatively, I’ve read about a good pair of handcuffs and temporary removal is an effective way to clean - followed by immediate reinstatement of the device.
In regards to having a wee… Some people FILL the cage all the time and their urethra lines up with the hole, however if it’s not quite there – things will get messy (picture a finger on the end of a hose!) In most cases, be prepared to sit down.
Afterwards, you might need a little wipe.
What about other things to expect?
• Morning wood – or nocturnal night-time erections… Did you know how often you get these… Just think about the Queen and wait… They’ll go eventually.
• Middle of the night wake up calls from your partner - these seem to happen more and more often. Thrilling but ever so frustrating I she doesn’t keep the key close by.
• Tap tapity tap. This has a metal padlock to secure the device. Sometimes if this is a little loose it can tap and knock on the acrylic cage. You might find a hair tie or rubber band might aid the “noise problem”
• It’s not particularly heavy when fitted, but a tight pair of pants can help it feel more snug and secure against the body.
• There are MANY cheaper copies of these devices on the internet which AREN’T made my AL Enterprises (and distributed by companies such as Lovehoney). They are cheap copies. They will split.
• The cage is in two parts which are sonically welded together. I’ve read a couple of times about the cage splitting. Obviously there is 1 year guarantee, however a little bit of superglue applied fixes the device - it’s recommended to do this whilst the device is removed.
What about accessories?
You can also buy the alternative CB6000s cage on its own if you find that the CB6000 is a little too loose.
Summary
Buying this device could be used as the beginning of something very submissive, deep, dark, depraved or much, much darker.
Or (in my case) a really fantastic, exciting, thrilling, frustrating, bit of fun – where my partner knows that it’s all about my love for her.
I don’t wear mine all the time - but I would if I could.
So why did I write this review
Because I love it! Whilst wearing it I feel snug and deliciously excited. When kissing, hugging or servicing my partner it feels as though someone is giving me gentle intimate cuddle.
-

- Cons

- Bottom line

Almost essential
Reviewed: 04 Jul 2012 by Stripes101
If I had to reduce my various kinks down to one, I think I would choose chastity. Probably because it is the most powerful and obvious forfeiting of (sexual) power that can be found at the root of most all other D/s scenarios.
This is a device that allows you to fuse fantasy and reality. Most kinks must, by nature, be restricted to the bedroom. Here is a practical item that can be worn almost without restriction (aside from the one it is designed for). It is not noticeable under clothing - I have found that tighter clothes are actually better: they hold everything flat and in place. It is loose fitting sweatpants that tend to fall in more revealing shapes. I managed to cycle 15 miles while wearing one with no ill effect. So the playing may end, but the chastity device remains, your fantasy an integral part of your everyday life.
The longest I have managed to wear this device without any release is just over two weeks and, in terms of hygiene, I really think this is about the limit - especially in hotter weather.
A cleaning regime is absolutely essential for anything more than a few hours. Most the techniques can be readily found here and elsewhere. Soaped up and thoroughly rinsed when in the shower. A few face-wipes, carefully pushed around under the plastic with a cotton-bud. Liberal application on talc can also be very helpful.
I have also found (and I've not seen this mentioned anywhere else) that a high powered compressed air can (the sort you'd use for cleaning switches etc) can work wonders. If you can get the right angles it separates the skin from the plastic releasing any trapped moisture and keeping things much fresher. If you're anything like me, these necessary behaviour modifications are all part of the fun.
It terms of security I think it strikes the perfect balance. Anything more secure (piercings aside) would almost certainly be less practical. Correct use of the spacers means pulling it off altogether is genuinely impossible. I suspect that when thoroughly soaped up in the shower I could 'pull out' (I hope this is descriptive enough, I'm trying not to be too graphic) but this would not remove the device altogether. Obviously use of this device is always entirely consensual, someone who genuinely wanted to get out could easily break the locking pin.
All in all, an absolutely wonderful item. The price probably puts it just beyond the casual bedroom player, but for anyone who has bdsm as a more integral part of their sex life (and the appropriate appendages), I'd say this is almost essential.
P.S. I have had no problem with the 'splitting' mentioned elsewhere. I think people are naturally more inclined to review things when they have had problems so I think that accounts for the high percentage of mentions.

- Pros
- Great balance of restriction and practicality.
- Cons
- Being released.

- Almost essential for any who is or has a submissive male.
