      This book was my first erotic novel. I purchased it a few years ago before it suddenly became socially acceptable to read erotic novels.

      I kept this book hidden, but quickly became engrossed in the story. It is a book that will not be easily forgotten and is definitely a classic erotic novel.

      I have read the Story of O multiple times, and have tried to get the second book but have been unable to source one.

      Would definitely recommend this to somebody looking for a kinkier book than 50 Shades, or who is interested in the sub/dom world.

    1. Beautifully Written... An Erotic Classic

      If you're looking for a light-hearted, Mills and Boon-style novel this isn't it.

      However, if you're seeking something that is going to challenge you, excite you, lead you into a way of thinking that you've never thought possible, Story of O is perfect.

      I was recommended Story of O at university by a friend and at first I was sceptical. Having not been a fan of any of the themes within the book before I didn't know what to expect.

      Although not for the fainthearted 'O' is beautifully written, the style of writing is well-crafted, decadent and indulgent. I didn't want to put it down and it has since become one of my favourite erotic novels.

      I will admit that Story of O isn't for everyone. Some of the themes seem extreme (even cruel), especially if you haven't had any experience of dominance and submission before. Take it for what it is and read with an open mind.

      Okay, I want to review this book but I actually don't want to tell you much. I feel you should read it and enjoy it as much as I have – without knowing anything apart from the fact that it is about domination and submission!

      It is an absolutely amazing book so stop reading this review and buy it! lol
