Three Words On The G-Spot: It's Real, Idiots!

Where has the G-spot gone?  If you had one in 2009 and its gone AWOL in 2010, then blame the boffins at King's College London.  According to these 'experts', the G-spot is sheer fallacy and 'doesn't  appear to exist'!

Now I may not wear a lab coat or have a Ph.D in Physics, but I do know from the popularity of our G-spot vibrator range, and the 'gushing' comments from reviewers (including the memorable 'I really do have a G-Spot  from launceston babe) to know that the G-spot, real or not, is giving lots of women lots of orgasmic pleasure!

I'm so sure of my claim that I've even founded a personal Facebook Group with the snappy name 'I bet I can find 1 million women who have a G-spot' to prove it!

We've got loads of information and advice for G-spot seekers on LoveHoney.  From the results of our G-spot survey to tips from the experts, through to real life g-spot experiences and the history of the G-spot, we've got it covered.  Perhaps the Kings College crew should have come to us first!

Men are spending more than ever on sex secrets - including sex toys

We may be in the midst of a credit cruch, but it's been estimated that men will spend £4.2 billion this year on sexy extras such as strippers, erotic magazines and online pornography - without revealing their saucy spending habits to their partners (Men spend £4.2bn on secret sex bills)!

"The sex industry is clearly not being affected by the recession in any way," says a spokesman. "It seems men will find money to indulge in the world's most famous past-time whatever the economic climate."

One spending habit that isn't revealed in the poll is that men are spending more than ever on sex toys, but maybe that's because a high number actually use the toys with their partners rather than behind their backs.

From couples toys such as the We-Vibe Clitoral and G-Spot Vibrator, to male toys like the bestselling Fleshlight and Tenga ranges, you can be sure that a percentage of that £4.2 billion is being spent at LoveHoney!

"My advice to women who are unfulfilled in the bedroom is to invest in a sex toy. I use a little vibrator called a Pocket Rocket - and it does the trick every time."

Latest Sex Toy Statistics from the USA

52% of women have used a vibrator

The Journal of Sexual Medicine has published new findings in to the use of sex toys in the USA.

As Cory Silverberg reports, the study of just over 2,000 women and 1,000 men shows that 52% of women and 45% of men have used a vibrator (New Research on Vibrator Use).

It appears that that people who use sex toys are more savvy when it comes to genital health, with a higher number of vibrator users having gynecological tests and performing self checks than those who don't use them.

Shockingly, they're not so hot when it comes to cleaning their toys, with 20% of men and 14% of women claiming they never clean them - a health risk in itself and inexcusable with long lasting and low cost sex toy cleaner so easily available.

As Silverberg says though, the results of the new study are quantitative only - and there's always room for more qualitative research (What Surveys and Marketers Tell Us About Vibrator Use).

"Research on sex toy use shouldn't be any different than research on how we use cell phones, electric razors, or microwaves," says Silverberg "While it's wise to have some critical concerns about research that is funded by an interested for-profit company, it's exciting to see a company actually commit time and money to researching sex toys."

Four Year Wait For Great Sex - Not At LoveHoney!

Great Sex - Why Wait Four Years?

Does it really take four years in a relationship to achieve the best sex ever?

That's the claim of a new survey by Phillips, which found that couples reached their sexual peak after 50 months together. Supposedly that's when they felt their sexiest and also the most confident and relaxed with their partner.

Four years in is supposedly also the time when couples feel happiest to try out new things in the bedroom.

These statistics may be true for some, but LoveHoney's customers tell a different story.

Based on feedback from our customer service team and messages left on the LoveHoney Forums, great (and adventurous) sex is something you can enjoy at any stage in your relationship.

Sex toys for couples, ranging from the bestselling We-Vibe Clitoral and G-Spot Vibrator to the BASIC Sex Toys Vibrating Finger Ring, have never been more popular.

Perhaps this is down to a flood of four year anniversaries, but something tells me that most couples are enjoying great sex far sooner than that!

Boost your endorphins LoveHoney's Basics Range

With the budget top of the news agenda, Forbes is focusing on a fabulous side effect of the credit crunch - recession sex (How The Recession Can Spice Up Relationships).

According to former Playboy and Pethouse star turned sex therapist, Victoria Zdrok, sex is a great cure for the recession blues as it boosts endorphin levels. She also points out that people are saving money by staying in more and spending time together, and thus having more sex.

Sex and relationships expert Ian Kerner goes one step further, suggesting that now is also the perfect time to introduce the 'concept of novelty' in to relationship, as it stimulates dopamine transmission in the brain.

LoveHoney is proof that the credit crunch has created a sexual boom. With an 80% increase in sales year-on-year and thousands of sex toys being sold every day, it appears that sex toys really are stimulating the brain, the body and the economy!

Irresponsible attitude of over 45s leads to sexual health and STI risks

Over 45s encouraged to practice safer sex

People aged 45 and up are continuing to risk their sexual health through unprotected sex and ignorance of STI transmission, according to a new survey from The Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain.

As the BBC reports: "a quarter of the 45-54-year-olds surveyed said they did not use contraception as they trusted the person they were sleeping with not to have an STI, with one in 10 saying they did not like the feeling of condoms." (Many over 45s ignore STI risks.)

However, as Lisa Powers from the Terrence Higgins Trust points out: "It's more embarrassing to get an infection than to use a condom."

Buying sexual health items online at LoveHoney is a great way to save embarrassment. From a comprehensive selection of condoms and dental dams, to female contraception and intimate lubricants, there are products to suit every sex life.

Further safer sex information can also be found in the LoveHoney Condom User Guide.
