Industry Accolade For LoveHoney

LoveHoney.co.uk has been officially named as Best Online Sex Toy Retailer at the 2008 Adult Industry Awards.
Presented by UK adult industry trade magazine Erotic Trade Only, the Adult Industry Awards recognise excellence in products, distribution and retail.
The award caps another year of rapid growth for LoveHoney.co.uk, which is now the UK's second largest retailer of sex toys.
"LoveHoney is going from strength to strength," says LoveHoney director Neal Slateford. "We've had several wildly successful product launches in the last year, including the C-String invisible underwear, We-Vibe vibrator, and Tenga Flip Hole masturbator - and we've got plenty more to come. As they say in America - you ain't seen nothin' yet."

Following numerous judging fiascos (think phone-in competitions and song contests for starters), LoveHoney.co.uk is fighting fixing with fairness with the launch of the UK Sex Toy Awards, to be judged by the people who count - you!
We're looking for 20 women to take on the onerous task of testing hundreds of pounds worth of free sex toys. It's a tough job we know, but someone has to do it!

LoveHoney Survey Reveals Valentine Gift Secrets

Call me an old romantic, but I just love Valentine's Day. It's the one day of the year when the other half and I make an extra special effort to forget all the little niggles that come from living together and just enjoy each other's company.
And yes, I have to confess that Valentine's Day is made even better by the fact that there's a present involved!
Over the years I've been spoiled rotten with all the old favourites (perfume, choccie and flowers), but the Valentine gifts that I've had the most pleasure from have been luscious lingerie and lots and lots of lovely sex toys!
And our survey shows (oh, I've always wanted to say that), that more and more men and women are celebrating Valentine's Day by buying sexy gifts for their partners. Better yet, loads of them aren't just showing their love on 14 February, they're making love too (90% in fact!)

The Queen's Speech (aka Ruth's Christmas Message)

Snow isn't falling all around us (yet), but the time has come for me to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!
From the hairbandesque C-String to the ecogasmic Rabbit Amnesty, its been quite a year at LoveHoney, and I'd like to say a huge 'thank you' to each and every one of you for your incredible support. Shucks, I love you all!

LoveHoney Launches Sexy Christmas Gift Guide

Call me an old Grinch, but the thought of Christmas shopping is enough to set me shuddering... Bath City Centre has already turned in to a free for all, with mobs of people charging around and shoving their bulging shopping bags into each others knees, ankles, faces (and yep, I spotted a painful groin shove on Saturday...) It's like being in front of the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury but with none of the fun. Add to that the stress of working out what to buy for who and I find myself reaching for the Aspirin!
Thank goodness for LoveHoney's Sexy Christmas Gift Guide! There are gift suggestions for everyone and not a High Street in sight. I can't say what I've bought as it will spoil the surprise for my family and friends, but I've even found something for Granny (just hope Grandad is up to giving a massage!) Rabbit Amnesty Update 2 - The Sex Toy Recycling Begins!

Who would have thought that sex toy recycling would to be so popular and so much fun?
Since launching our Rabbit Amnesty Sex Toy Recycling Scheme, we've received hundreds of rejected rabbits and have just sent our first tonne of old vibrators for recycling.
And to think some people thought we were having a laugh!

Rabbit Amnesty Update

What can I say! Thanks to all you lovely media people who have picked up this story and helped us spread the recycling message to sex toy owners across the world (although we are only accepting UK rabbits as it just doesn't make environmental sense to fly rabbits across the globe!)
The LoveHoney warehouse is filling up with returned rabbits and we will soon be sending the first batch off for recycling. Keep your eye out for updates here or do get in touch if you'd like any further info.

Rabbit Amnesty - Sex Toy Recycling Has Arrived!

As a 'Green Queen' (woe betide anyone who tries to throw a beer can or magazine in my dustbin), I've always felt huge pangs of guilt when it comes to disposing of my over loved toys. Until now my only option (aside from turning up at the tip and handing them over to the giggling teenager who receives the electricals) has been to wrap them in paper, pray that the dustmen aren't too inquisitive and put them out with the rest of my rubbish.
Thanks to Rabbit Amnesty, LoveHoney's innovative and environmentally friendly sex toy recycling scheme, I can sleep safe in the knowledge that when my rabbit is ready for retirement, it can be recycled safely and even raise money for charity!

No Desert Island Fantasy For Mr Blair...

With just days to go until Tony Blair packs his bags and departs Number 10, we here at LoveHoney sincerely hope that he isn't planning a desert island getaway anytime soon. Although Mr Blair topped the ratings in our Desert Island Fantasy poll, his victory was as the man people would least want to be stuck on a desert island with - bless!
