Lovehoney has been named Best Online Retailer at the 2011 ETO Awards.
Presented by UK industry magazine Erotic Trade Only, the awards honour the highest achievers in the adult industry, including retailers, lingerie companies, film distributors, and manufacturers.
Lovehoney beat off competition including Ann Summers to win the award for a record 4th year.
The company also scooped the 'Success Story of the Year' award, recognising it's continued innovation and business growth in the UK and expansion into the US Market.
Lovehoney, which currently sells one in three sex toys purchased online, making it the UK's largest online retailer, has had an exciting year, having undergone a successful rebrand and website makeover, and reported sales of £13.4 million for the year 2010/2011, an increase of £3 million on the previous year. The company also acquired online retailer Becheeky.com in April this year, launched several new product ranges and completed a one million pound refurbishment of it's warehouse and offices in Bath, doubling it in size. Its US operation, based in Dallas, has also achieved significant growth.
