Brits Turn To Kinky Sex To Beat The Recession Blues
Naughty Brits are turning to kinky sex games to beat the recession blues a new survey reveals.
The survey of 2,000 men and women by online sex toy retailer LoveHoney.co.uk found that 76% of Britons have taken part in sex games in the last 6 months. 58% of couples use bondage play as a special way to spice up their love lives, while 16% do it every time they make love.
68% have used restraints such as handcuffs and ties, while 18% have used a blindfold to enhance their lovemaking. 7% have even used unspecified household objects in the bedroom!
75% of people who had never tried tying up their partner said they were keen to give it a go.
The new Tracey Cox Supersex Bondage Kit is the perfect way for kinky couples to get started in tie-up sex games. It includes a silky soft blindfold, four fake-fur lined ankle and wrist ties, and an exclusive guide to bondage play written by best-selling sex author Tracey.
"While I certainly wouldn't suggest going to an S&M party for most couples, playing 'tie-up' privately is a definitely a great way to add zest to anyone's sex life," says Tracey. "When one of you is tied-up, you'll tend to try new things in bed, straying away from your predictable love-making path – it's this unpredictability that is the biggest turn on!"
Tracey's Five Top Tips For Safe Kinky Sex
- Don't be scared to have a laugh. It's normal to start giggling nervously when trying anything new. Just keep going and it should pass.
- Set boundaries before you start. Is there anything that's off limits?
- Have a 'safe word' – a word both of you know means 'Stop right now' and always stop when it's uttered, without demanding an explanation first.
- Never – no matter how funny you think it would be – leave someone tied up alone in a room. This isn't the time to pop out for a carton of milk.
- If you don't entirely trust your partner, don't go there. If trust is missing, it just isn't going to work.
