FGM To Rise Up The Human Rights Agenda With Release Of Waris Dirie Film

With the release of Desert Flower, the star-studded film adaption of Waris Dirie's bestselling biography in September, the subject of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) is set to rise right up the human rights agenda and in to the headlines.

Starring supermodel Liya Kebede in the role of Waris, the film charts her incredible journey from a nomadic life in Somalia to the world's most famous catwalks and how, at the peak of her career, Waris turned her back on modelling to fight against FGM, a ritual she underwent at the age of five.

Another woman on a crusade to stop FGM is Samantha Backman, inventor of the Mango Juicer Charity Dildo, which raises funds and awareness for both the Waris Dirie Foundation and Forward UK. It's truly a sex toy with a social conscience.

On top of its charitable credentials, the Mango Juicer Dildo is a 5* rated sex toy.

"It's an ethical toy that ticks the boxes - for pleasure and principle," says sex expert Julie Peagood.

"This dildo stimulates the G-spot easily and, as well as being perfect for those already experienced in G-spot stimulation, will help anyone who hasn't found their G-spot to do so," says a reviewer.
