There's such a huge choice of "rabbit" vibrators available now that I have to admit to feeling slightly overwhelmed when faced with choosing one! The options were point and click for pot luck, or to do a bit of thinking first. As always I'm a fussy bugger so I ambled off to make a cup of tea and switched on the computer ready for an exhausting two hours of perusing sex toys. It's a hard job but someone has to do it and all that...

In trying to choose, the most important things for me were quality of construction, amount of pleasure it gives, ease of use and lastly, how noisy it is. I may be a bloke and not the one on the receiving end, but I do like to provide as much pleasure as I can :-) As you'll have no doubt guessed by now, I ended up choosing this, the "Sex and the City Rabbit Vibrator" And I'm happy to report that it scores top marks on all points. Hoorah!

This design has been around a while - lets face it, series one was several years ago. It differs from most of the newly released rabbit vibrators in that it has a hand control on a wire, which contains the batteries. There are two slide switches, one for vibration and one for the rotating beads with combined squirming shaft action. Both are variable power to suit your mood. The newer jobs are all-in-one things with push buttons on a vibrator that also has batteries inside it. Actually, it's one of the main reasons I opted for this vibrator. Think about it - it's lighter, you can see the controls whilst using it and there's space for more powerful (larger) batteries in the hand controller. It works extremely well, and I'm glad I didn't go for a push button vibrator.

In terms of quality, this is one of the few sex toys I've seen that's actually made in Japan. In my experience anything made by the Japanese in Japan itself is always top quality. Sorry to pander to stereotypes, but in this case it's true, they really are fanatical about making things properly over there and I like that a lot. The mouldings are all very good and the battery case of the remote is a million times better than the cheap shoddy things on some of my other Chinese made toys. The whole vibrator has a look and feel of a high class sex toy that will last and that I'd be happy to give as a gift.

As for the pleasure this thing can give, the best way to sum it all up is - WoW! My partner was excited when I produced it for us to try, but she certainly wasn't prepared for the multiple orgasm it gave her a few seconds later! I began by licking her clit gently before sliding the shaft inside her with just the vibrator going. It's quiet but powerful, with some vibration going to the shaft but most (which is lots!) concentrated in the delicate, flexible, twin ears on the bunnies head. As we discovered, they sit snugly either side of the clit and cause serious amounts of pleasure - she was literally writhing around, gasping with pleasure! Pushing it further in gives you a different sensation with one vibrating point directly over your clit with the nose of the bunny.

After a little while I slid the second control forward to begin the rotating beads and squirming shaft. Liftoff! I'd love to be able to boast otherwise, but I've honestly never seen a woman orgasm so strongly. She told me afterwards that this is the best sex toy she's ever experienced. I can see why Charlotte became a recluse in the TV series!

It's hard to see how the rabbit vibrator concept could be improved and as the saying goes, If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Although a few years old this is a design classic - from what I've experienced and been told, this is THE vibrator for women!
