The Pixie G-spot vibrator is a chunky vibe with a curved head to the tip which is fairly wide. This is designed to hit your g-spot when inserted and this is just what it achieves! The Pixie also vibrates but I can only feel vibrations near the tip, not further down the shaft at all. The nose-like tip of the vibe moves up and down the shaft slightly, so that, if you have it positioned correctly, it stimulates the g-spot with a rocking motion which the makers call 'swing' on the controls. At the very tip of the Pixie's nose (sorry am I making this sound too weird?) is a plastic ball which is held in place by the hard plastic sides you can see in the picture, this rolls up and down so creates a unique sensation when used internally. The entire shaft is coated in elastomer which is extremely soft and very stretchy material, the raised nodules create further stimulation and the Pixie really is that bright pink colour. You can control the vibrations and 'swing' separately, but be warned, this is no quiet little pixie, the vibrations quickly turn to a high-pitched hum as you turn them up, and the 'swing' action mechanism is really quite loud. In use each of these functions is limited by how high you have set the other, so if you have vibration on high then turn on the 'swing', the vibrations will reduce somewhat.
Now for the all important : how was it in use? The answer is, as mentioned above, unusual...but effective. The product is designed for precision g-spot stimulation, which it does, its almost as if the Pixie is toying with you though, because as your pelvic muscles tighten the 'swing' action stops until you have relaxed them again. Which means this toy sets the pace itself, you just have to accept that you are subservient to a bright pink vibrator...if you can do that, or perhaps if you enjoy that kind of thing, then you might like the Pixie!
Unfortunately this product is not waterproof, so no bathing with a pixie for me to report on...perhaps that time shall come...
The swing action is useful in that you can switch it on and off till you have it at the position you find best then use the vibrator without the tip moving, which, because of the lovely rolling ball i mentioned, I also found very effective.
I realise I have been calling the Pixie an 'effective' toy, but this is because my experience of the Pixie has been just that, the delivery of very effective (and often delightfully exhausting) g-spot orgasms. But I fear this product lacks some of the friendliness and cooperative nature of most sex toys that are popular with women.
However, this is an interesting addition to any collection.
