Brilliant game!

Pros:
Very creative ideas that are not too raunchy

This was a Christmas gift for my wife that I surprised her with. We both like to spice things up but sometimes are shy about ideas. This game opens all sorts of ideas. While you can play around the board we quickly just moved to choosing cards and using them as we felt comfortable with. It is a great item and well worth it....

Finally! A grown-up Adult game!

Pros:
Creative. Sexy. Made us both horny!
Cons:
Was well balanced and entertaining. Nothing to dislike.
In a refreshing change for these sorts of games, this one has clearly been created by someone who knows about relationships and couples who like to make love and try different things in their sex life together.
Other adult boardgames that I've tried with my partner were full of stereo-typed, cringe-making activities, which just made you feel like you were auditioning for a Z-list porno. Not at all romantic or sexy.

I've always questioned how good can a 'adults' game be especially for couples who are adventurous anyway. That's why when we initially purchased the Monogamy game I had doubts if it would tickle our fancies as it were.

Pros:
The amount of forfeit/task cards means you'll be able to play this a lot before it gets repetitive
Cons:
If played properly, it takes a long time to complete.
To cut a long story short, it's foreplay with a difference.
The game is split into 3 levels - intimate, passionate and steamy, with each level requiring you to be a bit more daring/open with your partner. The good thing about this game is it encourages you to speak about things with your partner and removes the awkwardness that may have prevented you bringing these subjects up before (ie fantasies, group sex etc).

It may be good to have a book listing things you may need to play.
After seeing this game advertised in many places, and hearing about it through word of mouth, I thought I'd better get myself a copy and see what all the fuss was about!
The great thing about Monogamy is it's emphasising the fact you can still have sizzling hot sex, even if you've been in a relationship with someone for a long time. Often, games like this are a bit naff and likely to have you rolling round the floor giggling, as opposed to doing naughty things!

Can drag on a bit if there's a few of you playing, but nothing really
I played this last night with my bf and another couple, our friends. The game lasts about 4 hours but that was only because its mainly meant for couples so its probably half the time if its just you and your other half.

Pros:
Very sexy, and should appeal to almost anyone. Nothing that offends.
Cons:
Can require a little planning, and it's better played if you want a drink alongside.
Like one of the other reviewers, we're not a couple who have been together for yonks, so I was a little worried when my partner purchased the game...wondering if he thought things had gone off? Though I wasn't thinking it would be corny at all.
We planned an evening to play it, and were both quite eager.
You have to go round the board twice to play it properly, though we found it hard to restrain ourselves and stick to the level we were on. We wanted to advance to the 'highest' level immediately....

Great fun and a turn on too

Pros:
We had loads of fun with a lot of laughter and it really opened us up to talking to each other about sexual things, what we liked etc, and to trying things that we might not have thought of or wanted to suggest without the game.
Cons:
You might need to organise some props beforehand, such as a blindfold, some food suitable to be eaten off each other.
Honestly, i thought a game like this would be pretty corny but i just thought i would give it a try and suggested it to my partner. We are not a long-term couple needing to re-ignite the fire, but a new couple that wanted to explore each other and try some new things.

Quality fun and frolics

Keeps you talking throughout so not just a different kind of foreplay
Cons:
Some of the actions on the cards assume a fair amount of disposable income.
My first impression when this arrived in the post was that this is cut above the other adult games around. Most I have seen are of poor quality and look very tacky. This is designed to look (to put it bluntly) a bit more sophisticated.
My advice to anyone that buys this game (and I recommend you do) is that you prepare in advance before you play it. This is not a game you can play on the spur of the moment unless you have a well stocked cupboard.
