I do like erotic stories, so I was especially glad to receive this in the post.
The cover, as pictured, means you couldn't really leave this out on the coffee table with Auntie Mable coming to stay.
The book is a collection of short stories, all supposedly with sex and submission as the theme. The first few stories were quite good, heavy on the BDSM, with lots of description in terms that were not too medical.
These stories definitely achieved the intended result.
But then the variability of the standard of the stories came into play. Some were just lacking in sexiness, the themes of others were too fantastical. And one even touched on child abuse. That was a big turnoff, even though it was an attempt to explain the character. I was very surprised it made it through editing, as changing ages and the relationship would have made it ok.
The fantasy element cropped up more than once, again with variable success. In these fantasy themes in particular the submission element was lacking.
Other stories were even light on the sex, being more about the mental aspect. I understood the intention, but it didn't do anything for me.
In summary: as a collection of sex stories I am sure there are better out there, with the average quality a bit higher. For free I think its worth it, but I am not so sure about it at list price.
