I moved to London, Uk in the year 2000 and since then have slowly built up an online presence as a Freelance writer and Reviewer. Working with Eva Almeida for 6 years reviewing e-books at the same time as writing, has helped me start up my own reviewing service a few years down the line.
I'm currently living in London with my fiancé, professional photographer, Chris J Ball. I'm currently working on building up my reviewing service (http://fourstarrating.zxq.net/), writing more short stories and my first ever erotic novel.
I’d started to read this collection with some degree of trepidation as anything that could involve pain doesn’t float my boat, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Despite the rather descriptive title, Tie Me Up doesn’t involve excessive use of bondage; in many of the stories the use is subtle, a tease of what could be discovered in this particular world of fetishism.
The stories are well written and a variable mixture of storylines but I also felt they were very uninspiring as a collection. I suppose, though, it all depends on what you’re wanting to get out of a novel or anthology and for those seeking to be thrilled and entertained, Tie Me Up will most certainly do the job.
Regardless of its apparent lack of ‘kick’ for me, Tie Me Up provides escapism, a gentle lead up into the private life of bondage and tantalising erotic scenarios. I couldn’t fault it for anything else.
