Some of you may remember I raved about the previous novel to this one - Gothic Blue. And with good reason, it's a wonderful book. And this one is the perfect accompaniment.
It follows on from the previous book by telling the tale of the character Paula, who was meant to meet Jonathan and Belinda at Sedgwick Priory, but never arrived. It turns out she had very good reason - she was possessed by evil sorceress Countess Isidora, and hospitalised soon after. The two women now share Paula's body - Isidora taking over occasionally and leading Paula into trouble, usually of the sexual kind.
However, through Isidora's goading, Paula meets Rafe. And rather than just being a one night stand, it develops into more between the two of them, and because Rafe profession includes hypnosis, Paula believes he can help her be rid of the evil spirit residing in her body. Rafe does see a benefit to himself, and so agrees to help her. Then a spanner is put in the works as he realises he's falling for Paula. The two set off to find Sedgwick Priory together, believing all the answers are there. As it happens, they are. But as is expected, things are never straightforward...
But you'll have to read the book to find out the ins and outs of the plot. Rest assured, there's plenty of incredibly hot sex which will have you all of a-flutter!
