I have just finished reading City Maid and quite simply, I am in love!
It is about a country girl named Eleanor, who becomes a serving girl (you have no idea!) to the delectable Mrs Hampton of London. It tells the story of Eleanor's journey of sexual discovery in to a world she could not have ever dreamed off.
Having never read an erotic novel before, I did not know, as such, what to expect. I chose City Maid as I have a thing about history and sex. I was not disappointed. The sex scenes were very well written. It was like the words were pictures coming to life before your very eyes.
Pros
The very detailed, individual, and brave writing of all the sexual encounters.
Cons
Nothing!
Bottom Line
A deliciously explicit encounter that I did not want to end
