Pros: The pictures. Cons: "Old fashioned"
The book is basically a pocket sized Kama Sutra. A few positions you'll have already done, a few which are worth experimenting with and a few which you'll never be flexible enough to do! One thing that's really off putting about this book is Ms Hooper's little paragraphs - they can be old fashioned or patronising in my opinion. The pictures are worth a giggle though!...

Pros: A much more encompassing version than all the "pocket" copies out there. Good pictures and a very clear tone. Cons: It does miss out on some of the more advanced ideas, that are the real fun of reading the Kama Sutra.
Getting a good version of the Kama Sutra is not as easy as you would think, but this one does a very good job. This version has a very clear writing voice, which makes understanding the basic foundation of the kama sutra much easier. It manages to convey the importance of mood, feelings, and respect that you tend to lose when you go for the faster "pocket" versions of the Kama Sutra. It manages to not be patronizing, while still being approachable for the complete novice. The pictures throughout...
