The Tantus Ryder was my first silicone anal plug. With just a little water based lube, the moderate diameter of its torpedo shape makes anal dilation during insertion both pleasurable and comfortable especially as the underside taper passes through and the anus closes around the stem.
The flange is really small but sufficient to prevent swallowing. The result is a butt plug that is so comfortable in place and the flange so unobtrusive. I purchased it to wear with my wife during intercourse to enjoy the feeling of the anus contracting around the plug during ejaculation.
However I found its moderate diameter made it prone to slipping out as I climaxed. I now use the much bigger 2" diameter Tantus Tulip anal plug which always stays in place during sex bouncing.
My wife, having tried the Ryder plug herself loved it and agreed that its average size and superb comfort would make it an ideal plug to wear for extended periods. We bought a second plug for her and we both enjoy wearing them to dinner, during evenings out and daytime. The Ryder really is so comfortable and unobtrusive that my wife often goes to the office with her anus plugged. Nobody would ever guess that this innocent looking buxom 50 year old personal secretary is wearing a Tantus Ryder anal plug.

Finally I find the Ryder still has an erotic use during sex. You need to have a thoroughly douched rectum for this and to lubricate the plug well before insertion. I have found the anal dilation from deliberately expelling the slippery plug just before I ejaculate guarantees a really stiff penis with a swollen plum-like head and produces an intense and spermy climax. Its a bit like anal beads but rather than a series of bumps there is one big anal dilation as the well lubricated plug shoots out.
The Ryder is comfortable by day and oh so sexy by night.
