Ah, what joy! A plug that's comfortable to wear for hours on end but never ceases to remind you of its presence. This heavyweight little treasure is beautifully engineered and shaped to bring pleasure in so many different ways.

Aesthetically, it's very good to look at - I'm sure I could get away with using it as a piece of artwork on my desk, as a paperweight. (It could be fun to watch reactions to it, to see who in the office recognises it for what it is ....) And the stainless steel makes it look so very different from the usual dreary black or pink plastic.

The packaging, although impressive, is actually rather a nuisance - I hate throwing away such an expensive, plush box, but it takes up far too much room in my drawer. But great if you're buying this to give as a present - just add a ribbon and hand it over.

The shape belies the description 'plug' - the bulbous end is mounted on a tapering, curved shaft, which is both longer and narrower than usual in a straight plug. At the end is a small but effective handle, wide enough to stop it from disappearing completely but slender enough to allow for comfortable movement. (No more walking round like John Wayne ...)

The bulb slides in easily, with the help of just a little lube, aided by the rounded tip, the angle of which seems to nudge open the muscle ring entirely naturally, allowing the bulk almost to be sucked in with little or no effort. The narrowness of the shaft means it feels entirely secure, unlike many plugs where you spend more time worrying about it popping out than enjoying the sensations. And the handle is narrow enough to rest comfortably between your cheeks, completely unnoticed unless you happen to bend over for any reason ...

And then the delicious weight settles into you, leaving you in no doubt of its presence, filling you without overstretching, promising better things to come.

I like to play with the angle - 'upwards' if I'm spending time sitting at my desk, jiggling slightly in my chair to feel it stimulating me as I type endless marketing notes -'downwards' if I'm out and about, feeling it moving solidly inside me. I tried going up a ladder on a building site last week, with it firmly in place ... wow!

Chaps - I'm quite sure that the feel of it against your prostate would have a mid-blowing effect, in the same circumstances.

Girls - a quick e-mail to my partner telling him that I'm typing with the plug in situ ensures a hugely enjoyable reaction later.

And there's much good fun to be had playing with it as a couple, as well ...

Wearing it leaves me constantly turned on and ready for more, which can be exhausting sometimes but nonetheless is very pleasurable. I tend to make sure that I know he's going to be around to relieve the tension at some point, or else I have make use of other means, from the toy box.

The cost is high, but I think it's worth going for this largest size and getting used to it slowly, rather than paying out for the smaller sizes and having to replace them when you find you crave more weight. And the material and standard of manufacture means that it's going to last for years.

I really think I count it as anal jewellery, rather than a mere butt toy!
