    Apparel Buyer

    We are seeking to recruit an experienced buyer to develop and grow our apparel category. This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate wishing to build on their current buying experience gained at assistant or junior buyer level and offers good career opportunities for career development.

    This is an important new role and forms parts of the investment in people, which Lovehoney are currently undertaking to sustain their current rate of growth. Reporting to the head of buying the successful candidate will take full responsibility for all product development and stock management.

    Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Head Buyer, you will be:

    • Develop existing product range , own label and bought in brands
    • Identify new categories within apparel which are relevant to the Lovehoney customer and develop new product
    • Manage existing suppliers and identify new sources
    • Forecast sales and stock requirements, manage stock levels
    • Maintain stock levels placing purchase orders based on forecasts, sales and lead times
    • Deliver margin targets
    • Manage the critical path
    • With marketing and sales time ensure appropriate communications to ensure sales plans are achieved

    Experience

    Ideally buying experience gained within a fast moving retail business, a knowledge and understanding of sourcing globally and negotiating with apparel suppliers.

    • A good understanding of garment make-up and fabrics, setting quality standards and managing critical paths
    • Understanding systems, and undertaking sales and stock analysis
    • Good commercial awareness and market knowledge

    You will be

    The ideal candidate will be a strong self starter, motivated and enthusiastic and a team player. Strong organizational skills and time management are important.

    Production Editor

    We are looking for an experienced production editor with first class organisational abilities and an eye for detail that is second to none.

    Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Content Manager, you will be:

    • Responsible for maintaining the tone of voice of the Lovehoney Group of websites
    • Proofread and edit all written material produced by the Lovehoney Group, including website text, promotional emails, marketing communications, product packaging and trade marketing material
    • Provide final fact-checking approval for new products to be launched on Lovehoney websites
    • Manage the work schedule of the content team’s writers (including external freelancers), designers, photographer and videographer
    • Ensure that content is produced to business deadlines
    • Brand awareness. Ensure that our style guide is followed and updated, and that all the facts and URLs are correct
    • Maintain a calendar and make sure the team is aware of upcoming deadlines, holidays, events, etc

    Essential Qualifications and Experience

    • High standards of spelling, grammar and punctuation
    • Experience in editing/subbing copy for print/online media
    • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
    • Organisation and time-management skills
    • A good grasp of libel and other publishing law
    • IT skills (InDesign)
    • Self-motivation, responsibility, and enthusiasm
    • Work ethic: professional and conscientious attitude is essential in working with the team, visitors and clients

    Preferred Qualifications and Experience

      • Experience in using a CMS
      • An understanding of writing for the web
      • Experience in SEO-based writing and commissioning
      • Well-versed in the nomenclature of web design and development
      • An understanding of the market for sex toys, lingerie and erotic fiction

    Ecommerce Marketing Executive

    We need an Ecommerce Marketing Specialist to join a small and dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an online marketing and customer acquisition expert to join a fast-growing online retailer in a fast-growing market. With a focus on customer acquisition through digital channels, this is a varied and challenging role that will suit an established, talented individual who has at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role in an ecommerce environment.

    Responsibilities

    Reporting to the ecommerce manager, you will:

    • Create, monitor and measure acquisition marketing campaigns to continually improve results
    • Develop and manage internal and external partnerships to deliver high quality traffic to multiple websites.
    • Identify new traffic sources to drive quality traffic and brand awareness
    • Implement tools to measure and analyse results allowing continued improvement and reporting
    • Assist with the management of agencies to deliver effective campaigns achieving set KPIs

    Essential Qualifications and Experience

    We are looking for a data-driven, enthusiastic and creative individual with a passion for all things digital and who has worked in an ecommerce environment. This role would suit someone with the motivation and initiative to thrive in a small, dynamic organisation.

    • A proven record within digital marketing in acquisition focussed roles
    • Direct experience of search marketing (PPC and SEO)
    • Direct experience of shopping search affiliates
    • Direct experience of email lead generation
    • Thorough understanding of online and direct marketing principles and techniques
    • A highly analytical and numerate approach to marketing including experience of using web analytics
    • Data-driven approach with an understanding of digital analytics and tracking
    • An ability to prioritise and an appetite for delivering rapid progress with small teams
    • Agency management experience as well as an ability to work with internal cross-functional teams

    Preferred Qualifications and Experience

    • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms
    • Ability to develop and execute digital strategies using data
    • Experience of research tools such as Experian Hitwise
    • Creative individual with the ability to view situations commercially
    • Excellent communicator at all levels of the business
    • High levels of competency with Google Analytics and Excel

    Ecommerce Analyst

    We are looking for a Ecommerce Analyst who can get under the skin of our numbers to reveal actionable business insights to the ecommerce, marketing and buying departments.

    This includes strategic planning to ensure all KPIs are accurately captured and reported on; creating reports for all business users and helping them make actionable decisions based upon the data. As a part of the ecommerce team, you will present numbers and analysis to all business users in the company and provide interpretation of impact and importance. This includes weekly presentations at the senior leadership operations meeting, monthly presentations to the brand teams, and ad hoc presentations.

    Responsibilities

    Reporting to the ecommerce manager, you will:

    • Work closely with business stakeholders in the ecommerce, buying and marketing teams to understand their needs
    • Evaluate and amend existing reports according to the accuracy and needs of the business
    • Design reports to track web usage, customers, order patterns and product sales
    • Interpret reports and provide analysis in order to promote customer-focused decision making
    • Use your initiative to provide company-wide ad hoc analysis and support for decision making
    • Analyze the effectiveness of websites and marketing campaigns and report findings
    • Create dashboards by pulling data from different data sources and websites for stakeholders
    • Support ad-hoc requests for site performance and customer engagement data
    • Maintain weekly KPI dashboards, custom reports and ad hoc reports to effectively monitor performance against industry benchmark, trends and opportunities

    Essential Qualifications and Experience

    • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics
    • Experience of RFV analysis
    • Ability to effectively break business questions into their key components, identify appropriate data sources and methodology for analysis and translate findings into actionable insights.
    • Advanced Excel and MS SQL Skills.

    Preferred Qualifications and Experience

    • Hitwise experience desirable
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the business and external agencies
    • Excellent analytical skills to provide insights as well as recommendations
    • Extreme attention to details and outstanding organizational skills
    • History of success working both independently and as a member of a cross-functional team on multiple concurrent projects.
    • Able to work in fast paced environment where flexibility is key and directions can change frequently.
