Junior Designer

We are looking for a talented Junior Designer to work within a small design team to provide comprehensive support for the day to day needs of Lovehoney, Coco de Mer and more. Reporting to the Creative Director, you will be a creative individual with the ability to take projects from the initial concept stages through to completion. You will have a strong desire to create something new and creative within the online retail and packaging world. The successful candidate will need to have retail or editorial design experience and a history of communicating a brand across all forms of visual communication. Responsibilities

To produce innovative, customer-focused designs that incorporate all the elements of a great user experience while working within style guidelines.

Meet deadlines while having the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Working on design of emails, banners, packaging and on-site content. Retouching images and cutting out as required.

Essential Skills & Requirements

Solid experience of working across a range of design projects from websites to new media, video and print.

Ability to work quickly from concept creation to finished product. Must be detail-oriented, deadline driven, and able to multi-task with solid organizational, time management and follow through.

Excellent Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign skills

Knowledge of Flash and 3D software would be an advantage

Pro-active and able to show initiative/ideas to constantly improve the creative quality of the Lovehoney sites and Lovehoney brands.

Sophisticated sense of typography and an understanding of its relevance to good design both online and offline. Must be flexible when necessary to meet business needs.
