How do I place an order?
Shopping at Lovehoney is quick and easy.
All products are in stock and ready for despatch unless otherwise stated.

How to order
Browse the shop by clicking on the product categories on the left of the screen or at the top of the screen. Click on product pictures to see more information and to load a larger picture.
When you find a product you want to buy, click the "Add to basket" button to add it to your basket.
The item will now be shown in your shopping basket on the right of the screen. The total cost of items in the basket will be calculated automatically. Remember that all prices include VAT and that delivery to the UK mainland is free on all orders.
When you have finished shopping, click the 'Go to Checkout' link and you will be taken through the simple and secure payment process.
You can place an order online and pay by credit card, debit card or PayPal.
Your personal details are kept secure at all times and are not shared with any other companies.
Some items are available to pre-order. On the product page of these items, you will see this blue Pre-order button instead of the usual green Add To Basket button.
The product page will tell you when the pre-order product will be despatched.
If you order other items with a pre-order product, all your items will be sent together.
If you would like to receive your other items sooner, please place a separate order for them.
Order by Post
If you prefer, you can order by post and pay by cheque or postal order.
Add items to your basket and click to go to the checkout. Follow the instructions and choose to pay by cheque or postal order.
At the end of the process, you will be given an order number. Write the order number on the back of your cheque or on a piece of paper with your name and address and send it to us. You will be given a freepost address to send your payment to.

If you'd rather not place your order online, you can order over the phone.
You don't need to read out the names of the products when you order, so it's safe to order within earshot of colleagues and co-workers!
Before you call, make a list of the product numbers of the items you want. The product numbers are shown on each product page.
Alternatively, you can add items to the basket in the usual way and then call our freephone order line. On the basket page, the product number is shown in brackets after the product name.

To avoid disappointment and delays, apart from specially marked pre-order items you can only order items that we have in stock.
Our Web site tells you if an item is out of stock. We receive new stock every week, so there should never be a long wait if what you want is out of stock.
You can enter your e-mail address to receive an automatic reminder as soon as the product is back in stock. Look for the 'Out of stock' link on the product page.
After You Have Ordered
As soon as you place an order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. The e-mail will list the products you have bought, your order total and the delivery address.
Please double-check the information and if anything is wrong, please contact us as soon as possible.
When your order is despatched, you will receive another e-mail with your Royal Mail tracking code if you have ordered for delivery in the UK.
