I am passionate about music, I am a grade 8 classically trained singer, who misses being in a band very much. I live part time in The Gambia in West Africa, spending my summers and some winters out there. I am completely in love with everything African, and am heavily involved in Charities/school projects out there. These include the prevention of genital mutilation, which is an extensive problem throughout most of Africa (see below). I also sponsor twins Awa and Adama, who are now 2.

Short term results include tetanus, septicemia, hemorrhages, cuts in the urethra, bladder, vaginal walls and anal sphincter. Long term: chronic uterine infection, massive scars that can hinder walking for life, fistula formation, hugely increased agony and danger during childbirth, and early deaths"
