with the way it is bent C&E it's bent sideways so putting it between books won't help in this case...

I've showed my husband and he's seeing how bent it is too... I contacted CS they will send me a new one but not put it in a bigger box kinda defeats the object... I'll have to wait and see how the next one turns up....

    Hi Puddleduck,

It was me you spoke to regarding this :-) WHat I meant was that there was no need to put this item in a bigger box as I went out to the warehouse for you and could see that the feather fitted in a regular box perfectly.

I think what happened was that it was damaged originally as it came in a box with other things.. therefore a bigger box would have been needed or it should have been packaged at a better angle.

I hope this makes sense and I apologise for any inconvenience caused.

ah that makes more sense :) the box my feather came in today must have been a small box then as it really didn't fit at all
thank you for clearly that up :D xx

Hi PD- I am sorry to hear this has happened again.

I am referring all queries like these to our warehouse staff to see if we can review the way these items are packaged.

By all means, if you do have any future problems with items like this, please contact us in the first instance as that's what we are here for :-)

I always feel like ticklers and crops should be sent in one of them poster tubes. The size of the box that crops come in are huge! It would be much better if they could just be in a poster tube, then Royal Mail would probably be able to deliver them too.
