Hey guys, my OH just bought a set but says they're too big...

she had to squeeze the last one in and said that she now feels so filled up that she doesn't have to 'clench' to keep them in, they just sit there. She got them to 'tighten up' but is worried that because she's being stretched out instead.

Is that right or should we get a smaller set?

I've never had any issues like that. My slightly exxy, but awesome tip is for the Lelo Luna beads in either noir http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=26820 or mini http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=25627

Those two are a lot smaller and fairly weighted.

    Hi Well Heeled Gent,

I can't help with your specific problem, but you should review the LH rules, since posting competitor websites is forbidden, and you are likely to have your thread closed or deleted and not get the answer you are after

+1 on both these responses. I have also found other kegal balls to be too big for me personally - so I recently purchased the Lelo Noir - see above link from Kasey - and these are a much smaller and comfortable size. They look very classy and have weights inside too Hope this helps :) x

Hello, yes i would advise to stick to LH rules, no posting of links to competetive sites. If you want to post a link, try to find the product on LH. Good chance you will.

As for the balls feeling too big, they can be too big for her. Kegels are made in various sizes and different weights, so they are suitable different women. Women after birth or who have some problems with pelvic floor muscles prefer bigger and not so weighty balls to begin with. And slowly make their way to smaller and heavier set. But everyone is different and lot of depends on the tightness of the woman as well as her tone

If you suspect hers are too big for her, I secont the Noir set or the Mini is good. The Mini has the advantage that you can change weights so you can play more round with how you excesise.

I would also add the http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=20747 to the selection. The 2nd and 3rd ball may be for your wife, although the 3rd can be a challenge for beginner.

I have the same issue. I have LH's own ones and they are a bit snug but better than anything else I've tried so far

Are there really four balls? What's the length of that when they're squished together? This might be more about total length than circumference.

Or maybe if the total length is too long, they're forcing a lot of girthwise stretch to accomodate them? I don't know, I've never heard about 4 ball set ups before. Maybe she could try inserting two or three of them to see how that feels? How comfortable she is with that internally (external will be a bit awkward of course) could give you some more info on whether she requires something narrower or just shorter.

The ones you linked to are listed as 4 inches circumference. For comparison, that's a good bit smaller than the standard sizes of 4.25 and 4.5 inches and just a tad larger than the recommended Noir and Luna Mini whch list as 3.9 inches. The SinFive series is 3.5 inches and the smallest Ami is 3.45 circumference (the 1.1 on the page is dimension). I haven't seen anything smaller which doesn't sacrifice weight.

The general rule is that smaller circumference and/or heavier gives a more intense workout. Yours list as 118 grams, which is quite heavy. I don't know how being spread out over 4 balls affects that.

I've had excellent results from a heavy (125 g) glass set (now discontinued) which is 4.5 circumference, so a woman can get a good workout without having to actively work to hold them in. But if the ones your OH has are difficult to get in, by all means try a two ball set up.
